Summary

Love these books. Never read a bad one. Some of them grab me more then others, this one was fantastic. I am having my third reread and love it just as much as the first time.

This is one of Eve's most difficult cases, it challenges her on every level, especially when those of her own end up dead or injured....she would always rather it was her that gets injured than members of her team!
This one is a huge team effort with Eve, Roarke, Feaney, Peabody, McNab, Trueheart and even the eager Jamie brought in as they try to protect the innocent and clean house. Because this time it is a number of their own who are tired of the system failing.... vigilantes? or terrorists? No prizes for guessing where Eve stands when it comes to dirty cops and corrupt officials and politicians, especially when innocents are "collateral damage"
