I really enjoyed listening to this book by Odette Stone.
There is a lot to take in as the bad boy of Hockey Max Logan,falls for Rory the daughter of his new teams owner..!
Talk about complicated,but There are many twists and turns and obstacles for them to overcome and it all makes a great story and a wonderful listen.
Madeleine Dauer did a phenomenal performance of both male and female characters and she was a delight to listen to.
This is a compelling story with all the love ,drama,romance and steam to keep you satisfied.
I Loved it and highly recommend this Audiobook.

wanted to like this but rory's character was so disappointing such a pushover it was so irritating

An easy listen with a few twists and turns. Worth a listen. True love still exists, well according to this book anyway!

I enjoyed not only the story but the voice performer too. It had a few unexpected twists and kept me invested in the story.

Not the normal Hockey Romance

I think the writing, particularly the dialogue could be improved. The beginning event of the story was a big incident yet felt poorly written. The narrator makes it worse, her male voice sucks, and she sounds a bit like a robot. I had to speed it up slightly at times. I don't know if the 'burn' would have been better with a different narrator, or if its just hard to feel when male characters are super broody/grumpy/quiet. Saying that, the storyline is good, it's not that predictable and has plenty going on. it's never boring! I think the villain could also do with improvement. There's not much depth there either. I would recommend this to anyone who is into romance with drama. I will probably listen to other free books on audible by the author (hopefully with different narrators)
