Three years on from the events in The Golem's Eye, the magicians' rule in London is teetering on a knife-edge, with strikes, riots and general unrest. The Prime Minister is largely controlled by two advisers, one of whom is 17-year-old Nathaniel. I enjoyed this so much. not as good as Lockwood, but pretty close. not as good as the scarlet and brown series either, but again , pretty close. i tried to get into this series a few years ago but just couldnt, however, on my second attempt, as the story developed it just got better and better. I cried lol. so good. well worth a listen. brilliant narrator.
