Summary

Do you ever feel like you’re emotionally on a roller coaster? Not just because of your unstable emotions or relationships, but also the wavering sense of who you are.

Would you like to start a trip inside of your spirit and soul, maybe also discovering why you have these reactions?

These type of feelings may be caused by BPD (borderline personality disorder). If you have BPD, everything feels unstable: your relationships, moods, thinking, behavior, even your identity. Small things can trigger intense reactions.

It’s easy to understand how this emotional volatility and inability to self-soothe leads to relationship turmoil and impulsive behavior. BPD is treatable, but it requires to dig deep into your spirit and soul looking for the causes of this disease.

And that’s possible, thanks to the use of DTM (dimethyltryptamine). DTM is a psychedelic drug that transports you to another reality. Users report access to a completely different plane of consciousness. However this field is very complicated to explain in few words.

That’s why if you want to know more, you need a book like Psychotherapy and Spirit: 2 Books in 1: Borderline Personality Disorder + DMT: The Spirit Molecule - Near-Death and Mystical Experiences by Albert Piaget.

Here’s what you’ll find:

  • History and causes of borderline personality disorder
  • How can others help a companion or relative with BPD
  • Self-help tips
  • Psychedelic drugs: how science and society see them
  • Getting DMT: feelings and thinking
  • And much more!

Everyone Needs to Listening

She addresses the problems of narcissism in this culture, and shines a light of insight into parts of ourselves we might not be ready or willing to face. I thoroughly enjoyed this, and will listen to it multiple times.

Very Interesting Book

I love her tone - it is full of conviction, power and awe. I do not find her strident or judgemental, but instead inspiring and urging people to come to a deeper understanding of life and God, and the mystics.

Lovely Audio Book.

I had not heard of Cortright prior to taking a class in Transpersonal Psychology which uses this as a textbook, but the book is thorough, listenable and well-organized.

Excellent Listen.

Aside from gaining an understanding of transpersonal as a concept and being apprised of different contrasting approaches, there really isn't anything coherent you can take away with you. But perhaps that's all the author intended.

Very Interesting Book .

The focus was strongly Western, with some comments about Eastern paradigms, at times, explained with a partial understanding of them. Forms of spirituality from South American, African, Australian, Indigenous paradigms were barely mentioned. It is understood that Transpersonal Psychology is a Western concept, yet, the concept of "spirit" is more expansive, and should be more inclusive and pluricultural.

Best Audio Book I've Ever Purchased

This book is directed towards other psychotherapists. I just wanted to learn about a little more about psychology. This isn't to say that the concepts are too hard to understand, but if you just want to learn about attachment psychology, there are plenty of articles online that can be read much faster. What I really enjoyed about this book was learning about the various complexities of psychotherapy.

Interesting and Useful

I most certainly agree with one reviewer that there are no hard and fast rules in decoding the symbolism of dreams as I often found myself at disadvantages with interpreting my own dreams for self-growth. But, it is best to gain more theories and guidelines on the subject which become the available tools for us to use in interpreting.
