Great foundational book

Data analysis is a very popular buzzword these days, despite this fact you would be forgiven if you aren’t quite sure what it entails as getting to the heart of the issue can be a complicated matter. The root of the problem is that there are numerous different definitions for the concept, each used by different types of individuals with different end goals. Broadly, it can be thought of as the process by which data is inspected, modeled, transformed and cleaned by business with the end goal of using it to inform the decision making process. Well organized and complete. I appreciate having the access to this knowledge. This is great. I had some prior informal experience in Linux, and this course has helped me to much of what I already knew as well as introduce new techniques that are very useful. I appreciate the order in which Sections are placed as students are introduced to methods that will guide them not only to have an understanding the basics of the Linux command line but to also be able to teach themselves to independently accomplish future tasks using the Linux CLI. This audio version was great! It provides an excellent introduction to the key vocabulary and concepts for data and data analytics. The style is clear, and I'm encouraged to learn more. Thanks for building my confidence in this subject!

Tells you what you really need to know

Perfect voice for teaching. Simplifies the subject matter. This is an excellent course overall. I have tried several strategies, and all of them were useless. When I tried this, it works pretty well. Predictive analysis is an extremely useful tool when it comes to deciding on the overall accuracy of a particular prediction without having to wait until you can determine its accuracy via hindsight. Part of analytics, then, is the discovery and communication of important patterns that can be found through numerous different channels, customers, corporate data and products before being broken down into several different subcategories.

Useful when it comes to determining the likelihood that a specific event is going to happen in the future. It is the most commonly used form of data analytics that is used on a regular basis. Predictive analytics bases its success on a variety of core techniques that can be helpful when it comes to determining what information is worth acting upon from all of the initially random-seeming data. This can be done through what are known as predictive searches or supervised machine learning, data optimization, decision analysis, transaction profiling and predictive modeling.

Mathematically, predictive modeling can be represented by the relationship between specific types of data. These relationships are typically used as a way to forecast, classify or predict the future. Predictive models are also commonly used when it comes to analyzing historical or current data along with the ways it connects to specific individuals and can also be used when it comes to determining various metrics that come into play regarding certain scores that have been assigned to the, previously. These scores, then, are used when it comes to giving out ranking in regard to products, individuals or services based on their anticipated future performance.

Additionally, it is important to keep in mind the fact that predictive models are also particularly useful when it comes to determining things such as the potential for fraud or other breakdowns of the system happening in the first place. As such, you will often find that it is paired with automatic transaction systems that are crucial to the long-term success of the business when can then help to keep the entire process moving in the right direction in near real time. This process can run smoothly with very little external input as it involves several unique methodologies, which you can learn more in here as well.

Well paced course, with all steps clearly explained. Truly helpful techniques. Highly recommend this course.

goes depth on so many subjects

This book won't disappoint you if you want to know more about Linux, C programming, Unix operating systems, and much more. One comment on the length of the book; it is long, but not long in that rambling on and on, there is just so much to talk about and he goes depth on so many subjects. Some chapters may not be relevant and you can skip over them without having dependencies on other chapters.

Time to get started.

Very clear, helpful and easy to understand information on every chapter and inspiring and great Lector! With these lessons you will have all knowledge you need to start your journey.

The biggest benefit to big data is that, if it is used correctly it can lead to a wide variety of serious advantages based on the results that will be created from the software you choose when dissecting it. This will, in turn, make it easier to get a better understanding of the asymmetrical elements that relate to either your marketing or production plans.
Big data will also come in handy when it comes to determining the most effective ways to run a business because, assuming it is done properly, it can make it clear what the most effective course of action is going to be given a specific set of circumstances. What’s more, it can also lead to innovative new solutions to old problems, or an increase in potential new markets. Businesses that need innovation in order to stay relevant in today’s market only need to open their minds to big data in order to more easily determine what the market is likely going to look like six months to a year down the road.
Big data can be unstructured and come in video, image or audio forms primarily, though poorly structured text can be considered unstructured as well. One the other end of the spectrum is structured data, which also includes actuarial modes, sensor data, financial models, mathematical models, risk models and machine data. In between the two you will find what is known as semi-structured data which includes things like software modules, spreadsheets, earnings reports and email.

Furthermore, as big data is currently in the public mindset, it can be easy to get focused on gathering everything you can find without thinking about its individual quality. This will soon prove to be a mistake, however, as using subpar data is only going to skew the data in unpredictable ways. As such, you are going to not only want to consider the process you use when it comes to gathering big data effectively, while also ensuring that you have a way of ensuring that the incoming data is as relevant as possible. It is extremely important to also keep in mind the ways you can improve the quality of the data you procure whenever possible. Loved this course and the instructor ! My favorite, best, and highly recommended courses !

Daniel explains useful system calls in a very simple and intuitive way. You should have a basic understanding of C programming. This course is very good for you if you are a beginner-intermediate in systems programming. The best part is that, this book will teach you everything you need to know and fast! Without mincing words, the book teaches you two programming languages, how to write scripts, and how to navigate the Linux command line very well :)

Thorough, engaging, and well organized

This massive influx of data hasn’t happened under the radar either, which means that businesses everywhere are currently looking for ways to maximize their data analytics in new and exciting ways. When it comes to getting at the heart of the matter, it is important to keep in mind that the more insight you are able to glean from the data, the more easily you will be able to latch onto trends that might otherwise pass you by. This will mainly be done through the use of statistical analysis along with multiple types of predictive modeling techniques that will be discussed in later chapters which can be used for a wide variety of projects, regardless of the parameters or desired results. This process can be extremely useful, assuming it is used correctly, and can be put into practice successfully by both human and artificial intelligences as well. Basically, what it is all going to come down to is that traditional intelligences can often easily spot what a specific problem might be, how often it occurs, where it occurs and how it occurs. However, accurate analytics remains the best way to easily trace a problem back to the source and determine what is likely to happen if the status quo continues unchanged.

Who Doesn't Love Coding?

Daniel is a great instructor! He started from the most basic things like opening and closing the terminal to the opensource software. He explained everything in great detail, and he provided great cheat sheets to summarize everything. This course is great for everyone, especially for beginners who want to learn more about GNU+Linux OS and its possibilities.

Straight and to the point. Discrete choice models are also known to allow an easier way for marketers to take a closer look at the specific impact of numerous different variables that include things like service bundling, pricing, configuration of bundled products and other types of promotions as well as how each affect customer mindshare and, more importantly, market share among different segments of the target audience. Discrete choice models then work based on the theory that each purchase that is made represents a conscious choice that can be tracked and dissected. To ensure that you are using the discrete choice model effectively, the first thing you are going to need to do is ensure that you are gathering the most effective type of information possible. To do so you will need to start off by forming focus groups in order to ensure you are on the right track when it comes to the most important buying factors your customers are interested in. These focus groups will then make it easier for you to explore the motivations that your customers have when buying your products and will make it easier for you to generate the primary hypothesis regarding their motivations when it comes to choosing products in the category you are studying.

Once you have a general framework to work with, the next thing you will need to do is to test your hypothesis in an appropriate setting. Specifically, this can be done in one of two ways, though both heavily focus on giving out surveys. The first option is going to be working with an existing product in hopes of improving the way in which customers interact with it in the future. In order to properly utilize this option, you will need to generate a survey targeted at potential customers designed around the purpose of determining what they are looking for in the class of product in question and any other thoughts they might have that will affect purchases of this type in the future.

Dream Come True

Exceptional course that taught me a ton of useful information that I did not learn from reading a book. The instructor is super passionate which made the course very fun and exciting. I would recommend this course to anyone that wants to learn about GNU/Linux or get better at it like I did. The only recommendation I have is making have a section on process management. That would really make this course a perfect introduction! One essential activity that each business needs to use to help them analyze and identify market demand, how strong the competition is, market trends and market size is market research. This also allows them to see how reasonable a potential service or product will be before putting it on the market. It can recognize how important using data to make decisions. Analytical and statistical methods are popular in quantitative market research. Key driver analysis can be used by a business to understand what attributes, service components, products, or brands have the best influence on a decision made by a physician or why a customer buys a certain product. Simple, easy to understand course. The speaker was direct and no-nonsense. I liked it. I learned a lot.
