Summary
Die berühmte Venus von Milo, eine antike Statue aus massivem Marmor, wird aus dem Pariser Louvre gestohlen, und zwar vom Gentleman-Einbrecher Arsene Lupine, der dabei wie stets höchst raffiniert vorgeht. Doch in van Dusen findet er seinen Meister. Obwohl er von der Surete in Person von Kommissar Gallimard stark behindert wird, gelingt es dem Professor, die Venus aufzuspüren und dafür zu sorgen, dass sie ihren Platz im Museum wieder einnimmt.
