Summary

Understanding probability as unique and stimulating theory which goes beyond conventional mathematics, will give you better perspective of the world around you. The first part of the book explains the fundamentals of probability in clear and easy to understand way even if you are not familiar with mathematics at all and you are just starting your journey towards this particular field of science. In the following sections of the book, the subject is explained in wider context along with importance of permutations and combinations in probability and their applications to a variety of scientific problems as well as the importance of probability in real life situations.

wonderful

As with all his books, this one is clearly written, with wonderful examples, and an intuitive approach. I highly recommend it to anyone interested in understanding probability and stochastic processes.

Such an informative book

I think this book is a worthwhile read and I came into work today a little more energized to work up sound solutions to a couple of automation issues that have required too many annoying manual interventions. It's hard to ask a whole lot more than that.

very well written

This book provides not only information on what Probability is, and how to implement it, but also the history and circumstances which led to and justify this revolution.

2 in 1

This subject is quite intriguing to me as it helps me know what Probability with Permutations and Markov models are and how it works. This book has offered great ideas in which I can use in the future. The author is clearly knowledgeable.

Impressed

I am impressed with these 2 books, it is very relevant when a decision problem is associated with a risk that continues over time when the timing of occurrences is vital as well as when events occur more than once

Extraordinary

Great writing. The author Steven Taylor shows us here what is Markov Models, how it works, how it helps in algorithm, Hidden Markov Models etc. This book helps me a lot to understand Markov Models.

well written

Very nice book. Must have for anyone introducing in the study of probability. Well designed, concise, well explained and with lots of examples and end of chapter exercises (with no solutions in the book, however).

Worst reader ever. Shouldn't be allowed to speak, much less get paid for it. I will be avoiding any book with this guy's name attached to it.

Awesome book

It is an awesome book for Computer Science Students..I delighted in the measure of data in Python gave by this short book. I'm new understudy in CSE and i get a kick out of the chance to coding so i purchase this book since i need to learn Python language.. All things considered the book give me a decent pondered Python. So I suggest it for all CSE students....

This book provides general information and how to

This book provides general information and how to use it in real life. This is an informative guide for the reader indeed. The Markov models give amazing flexibility in arranging of events. This is quite interesting. I learned Markov Models from this book.
