Summary

The humans ruined the Earth and left.

Mother Nature was on her knees but she fought back. Green shoots of hope started to appear and the planet underwent its genesis. Two basset brothers headed to Scotland in the hope of a new life. Others joined them and they set up the first of seven dogdoms in the valleys near Loch Ness.

Harvey Basset was appointed King. Life was good until one day a terrible discovery was made....

Playful and Goofy!

I listened to this romp on the recommendation of a friend, and enjoyed a delightful 3 hour car ride on leg 1 of our family road trip. The reading was playful and precise, full of amusing accents and surprisingly evocative impersonations of what various breeds of dogs might sound like if they spoke English. The reader clearly savors the words of Gary Compton’s quirky and charming adventure, bringing out all of its humor and affection. Recommended for those who have an appreciation of the goofy — which, for a Bassett Hound lover like myself, goes without saying.

Charming Furry Fairytale read by Hypnotising Voice

The books is a charming story aimed at a young audience with enough tongue in cheek to amuse the adult crowd as well, making it shareable for parents and kids. Mr. Herzovi has a vast and varied repertoire of voices at his disposal to bring the characters to vivid life for the listener. One is transported into the world of the author by Mr. Herzovi's rich and redolent voice and you will soon find yourself diving in to the comfortable and charming waters of a story that wraps you in it's world and gently carries you along.

Imaginative Romp Through Doggie Kingdom

Narrator Michael Herzovi brings a amazing variety of voices, dialects and sound effects to these fun, though somewhat stereotypical, characters alive. Kids will enjoy Michael’s lively vocal approach and Compton’s world of pooh shooting weapons, farting and doggie escapades. Let’s find those Chocolate Mushrooms!
