About this listen

Rose loves horses - from a distance. She's always found them a bit scary up close. When she wins a pony in a competition, she has to face her fears and learn to ride. But this is no ordinary pony: Maltie Delight is a bona fide superstar, and he knows it. How will this selfie-loving prima donna ever settle for shy Rose as his owner? Can a Wild West riding camp help them learn to live together - or will it be a diva disaster?

A hilarious tale of friendship and self-belief, from the author of Pony on the Twelfth Floor.

Rose has won the pony prize of a lifetime - but how will the stables compare to the spotlight for her prima donna pony? A riotous ride from the author of Pony on the Twelfth Floor.

I enjoyed listening to this book but it didn't really grip me. Well written but I found the character of Rosie irritating and a pony that spent most of his time preening himself was just too unbelievable. I'd recommend the book maybe for the younger kids but this big kid just wasn't impressed. Sorry.

It was OK.
