Well worth a download !!!!

I really enjoyed this book, and love the way Kate narrates it too, she really captures you and helps you understand food.... Lots of interesting facts about diet and nutrition and well being , I found this book quite inspiring... I didn't want to book to end.. Enjoy !!!

Great perspectives and refreshing honesty

I actually have both the audible and paperback copies of this book, and when I downloaded the audible my husband asked 'but why? You already have the paper one. Well my answer was simple, I'm loving reading the book but given I was so busy and needed to travel I found my answer was to download it to my iPad and plug in my headphones.

Kate's clearly done her research for this book and she has some great perspectives on life and great tips for everyday living.
It's not one of those hey I lost 15lbs and this is how to do it books, she gives simple and practical advice for everyday living. A few dos and dont's and her no nonsense honesty makes it an enjoyable listen/read.

As I'm a British reader/listener I will mention that all the stats and quotes have been taken from the USA but the practical side of me says that there will probably be equal or differing statistics for the UK which perhaps at some point I might look up if I have nothing else to do.

The audible version is also read by Kate, most books these days are read by someone else so to be able to listen to the author is a nice change.

Overall I found the book constructive and helpful and I am already acting upon some of the advice in it in the hopes that it helps me find my 'Pretty Happy'.

Smart ideas for your day to day life

This book is fantastic for ideas of how to be healthier and more mindful in your day to day life. The more scientific information is really informative but if you've got no base line knowledge of what goes into food then this might be a bit heavy. Great read and she narrates fantastically.

Disappointing as an audiobook

I’m a huge fan of Kate Hudson, but I strongly believe that this book is a little over complicated as far as health theories go. It’s a better physical book, in which you can make notes, rather then one to listen to.

I did enjoy it, but found it a little boring at times.

A pleasant listen

... which may be inspiring to some. I did not really learn anything new and would also challenge some of the advice (as to scientific basis) but found it interesting to learn more about her approach to health and fitness. Some of her advice is also really positive like if you can just go outdoors even if it is an urban park. I also thought that she did not come across as "out of touch" as one could have expected but actually quite personable and relatable. Overall: not a masterpiece but not dreadful either.
