Good as an introduction to mindfulness.

This book was recommended due to being diagnosed with PTSD and depression. The book was really simple for me to understand and is good as an introduction to mindfulness.

The book is my entry point into mindfulness, a concept quite unique in itself. The style is not fast, as it aims to express new concepts in details and with all their nuances, so it requires some focus and effort, but totally worth it. Listening to it is the first exercise of mindfulness.

Aware of all that is good around me.

I am not a meditator but I know I get knocked off balance while working. Mindfulness gave me what I needed to set my emotional state for the day and then when chaos hits, to rise above and return to my center to stay civil, enjoyably productive, and aware of all that is good around me.

This book is a great daily reminder for us to center ourselves to allow our days to unfold with an ease and calmness. Mindfulness is a practice, not a perfect as the author so eloquently stated in the book. I highly recommend it and it will be a daily reader for me from now on!

I've listened a lot about mindfulness.

I've listened a lot about mindfulness and practice mindful meditation every day. It is very difficult to live in the moment and not dwell on the past or on forecasted futures that never come to fruition. This is the best book on this subject that I have listened.
