I enjoy this, it was fun and lighthearted with all the usual fun fantasy world elements. Has abit of spice too!

Fun and lighthearted

Good bit of action and I’m interested in where the story is going but I kind of loose interest when the characters get together and all characters were too easy so that will do for me. I really don’t dig the breathy voice of the female narrator either

I picked thos one up because it's narrated by Troy Duran and I'll listen to him reading the old yellow pages and still love it. However, this story surprised me how good it actually was. The unlikely couple (enemies to lovers - kind of) end and she finds another 2 in the most unlikely place.
There is a mystery here and a bigger purpose to everything, but we will only find out in the next few books in the series.
Still, this one gives us lots of action (including of the spicy variety), and many different types of prn characters. Colour me intrigued.
Love the narration too.

I really struggled  with this book. It has everything I love, witches, werewolves and vampires. Unfortunately Stephanie Rose seems so intent with her bad Mae West impression that she pauses when she shouldn't and doesn't when she should. Troy Duran on the other hand is a pleasure to listen to, it was only due to him that I kept listening. I found the erotica off-putting I have read/listened to so many great books over the years that don't need to use excessive sex scenes to sell/pad out a story. I enjoyed the story but won't be listening to the next two books. The two stars are for Troy Duran's narrative only
