I throughly enjoyed this book. An interesting insight into the dark side of fame. Anyone who was there in the 90s will enjoy this book.
It also gives a stark portrayal of the nature of addiction. This is a thoroughly engrossing read.

It tells the tale of triumph and tragedy and manages to be laugh out loud funny at the same time and also reminding us all to never give up hope,

I’m hooked. Listening at every opportunity I can. Kavana was, and still is, pure pop royalty from that golden era of pop.

It’s funny in places but also genuinely heartbreaking — especially hearing how much he struggled with his sexuality and couldn’t be open about it back then. It’s mad how different the world was, but also how recent it still feels.

The behind-the-scenes moments with the Spice Girls are absolute gold. Geri sitting him down to tell him how special he was — like she’d just popped an E — was both hilarious and oddly moving. She was right though. He is special.

This is such a brilliant listen: honest, emotional, hilarious in places, and full of pop culture chaos. Highly recommend.
