Win the game

I bought this book because I always wanted to learn how to play poker. I didn’t know how tricky this game was. There is so much strategy. This book goes into teaching you what the poker ratings are to so that was especially helpful. I realize more now that there is an art at bluffing too. Learning to read people is fun anyway but this book goes into detail about reading your opponents so you can win.

Fantastic book!

William's narration was clear and lively. Kevin's writing was in detail and to the point, with excellent examples in each chapter to illustrate the concepts that he is explaining. I breezed through this book within a week and took a lot away from it. I was skeptical that I needed more math in my poker toolkit, but Kevin convinced me otherwise. Fantastic book!

Glad to have it as my guide

I was looking for a course that would strengthen my basics, but allow me to develop the skills to gain a competitive advantage beyond the basic levels of play. I'm now almost halfway through the course and getting into the material I was looking for. I recommend this course for players who are not beginners but have maybe stalled in their game, or like me, want to step up.

I’ve been impressed with the quality of it

I’ve been impressed with the quality of the book. The content is exactly what one would expect and exactly what I wanted to focus on right now. It sets out with a simple foundation and builds upon it, step by step, eventually tackling complex topics like hand ranges and frequencies. Great stuff!

Great for beginners and advanced players alike

This book is great for beginners and advanced players alike. It really takes the fundamentals to an entirely new level. I enjoyed it because it was engaging and informative without getting into too many boring details. Students will gain some great insights into the game that they can use while at the table (or online), and even while they are not playing in daily life. Like tips and methods to keep your game, by staying healthy, focused, and maintaining a good attitude about poker.

Great Explanation of all of the topics

Great Explanation of all of the topics. Although I have been playing for a number of years, it is still good to back through what you have learned and reset the mind and thought process. My game has fallen down as of late forcing me to stop. This course allows me to look at my game from the outside in and make adjustments as needed.

Great information learned

Understand the importance of math in poker through the use of this guide. For anybody who doesn't know the math of poker, it is like you are simply guessing at what you are doing. I have often wondered how much maths are involved in poker but have never bothered to investigate this. When I saw this course, I immediately thought that is a must for me as I was one of these guessing Poker players. With this guide, I've learned things I didn't know before. Great information learned.
