Hatred and insanity mingle together in this disgusting specimen of a human being that stands before me. I don't know how I've wronged him or why I deserve this fate. My parents were slaughtered, my friends killed, and Sean Ferro was ripped from my side by this monster. The promise of picket fences and a little voice with tiny hands keeps me eerily sane.

Traditions are important. Especially in the South. College football. Rivalries. Tailgating. Halftime shows. Some things just don’t change. Until Reese Holland shows up with her long legs and no-bullshit attitude to audition for the prestigious all-male Rodner University snare line. It doesn’t matter how much hazing she has to endure from Laird Bronson, with his narrowed green eyes and arrogant smirk. She wants that damn spot, and she’s more than good enough to earn it. She expects there to be tension. Even friction. But not sparks hot enough to burn the entire campus down.

A pleasure from start to finish!
This well written, unusual story combines romance, tension, angst, great story line and truly interesting characters and scenarios, is brought excellently to life by Valerie Gilbert. She modulates her voice to bring passion, frustration, fear and sexy times to our eager ears. I have remained engrossed throughout, becoming really quite grumpy when interrupted!

When Ivy League & Tutus Collide, ain't that the truth? Not only did they collide, they tore each other up in the process! I was completely and utterly immersed in this book from the get-go. I loved the dual POV, I fell totally in love with both Adeline and Leo, they both just made complete and utter sense to me. Their interactions were believable and the sexual tension took my breath away. The story follows ballet dancer Adeline who is on a student scholarship programme at a prestigious ballet company and the two loves of her life who were born with silver spoons in their mouths and are part of a power hungry fraternity that threaten everything and everyone to keep their secrets. This is a love story with lots of angst, twists, turns, revenge and jealousy. Can their two worlds merge and will they defy the odds? Will love conquer all? I thoroughly enjoyed this book and would go as far as to say it's my favourite Amy Daws book to date

Interesting read
The story was different, and a bit too much drama at a times, but it kept me entertained. I couldn't connect with characters and didn't see a draw between them either.
The narration was very good and it made the book better.

Overall Pretty Good But...
I usually enjoy Amy Daws books so I'm wondering if the other authors writing style is what I found annoying. Overall, the story was pretty good but the amount of times they say the words "however" and "never the less" is beyond ridiculous. It got to the point that I'd laugh each time they said those words. I'm sure I would've enjoyed this book more if it had been edited better. You might want to pass on reading this book if you notice grammar problems or get bored with repetitive writing. Sorry Amy Daws... this one was disappointing in comparison to your other books.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
I would recommend this book to a friend. The story was good and it had some hotness to it. I can't say that I agreed with eveything but hey I always think that someone does something stupid in these stories. The crazy thing is that we normally do stupid things in real life all the time so nothing that the characters did stopped this book from being good. The narration was pretty good. This book was given to me for my honest opinion and I thought this was a genuinely well written and well narrated story.

Engaging and Emotional Story!
Pointe of Breaking is an engaging and emotional story about a ballet dancer, Adeline, and Leo, a college student that has everything including secrets. They are drawn to each despite outside forces that try to keep them apart. The roller coaster ride that the authors create for us is exilerating, taking us through the love and heartbreaks and everything in between, including all the twisty turns, as Leo and Adeline find their to each other.
Valerie Gilbert was just wonderful as the narrator for this book. She had the ability to makes us feel all the emotional twisty turns from beginning to end.

Exhilarating and Sexy Romance!
This book captured me right from the start and never let go. Adeline has worked hard to get to where she is today. She has always wanted to dance but an innocent choice just may put her dreams at risk. Leo is drawn to this passionate, talented dancer and will do whatever it takes to make her his. Unfortunately his family secrets could ruin them both. This story is a rollercoaster of emotions that kept me totally engaged. Valerie Gilbert was a huge part of that. I was totally lost in her ability to bring these characters to life. The passion and inflection she used, especially when describing the emotional dance routines was thrilling.
I really liked both Adeline and Leo. They worked hard to be together when there were those who tried to keep them apart. Their journey wasn't easy and the twists and turns kept me totally engaged. If you are looking for a heartfelt, emotional, sexy romance, you will definitely love this audiobook!

men...can't deal with men! just kidding
Talk about the biggest a-hole you'll ever meet! Blake Rossi is a breed of his own.
Adeline is a mess. Her life has waves where others only experience ripples. Closed off and avoiding a repeat of the man who destroyed her is her only mission in life outside of her career. Well, it was until he caught her eye!
Leo Richards. Another complication in what is an already jumbled mess of complications.
Read/listen along to the chaos that is their dance.
So here's my nitpicky moment...I enjoyed the story. I may not have been a fan of some weaker moments between dumb dudes letting other tell then what to do...but it was solid. I did however get frustrated that the narrator kept dropping the character. At times while doing the voice for Leo, she dropped it and it drove me crazy thinking O missed the transition to switch back to Adeline.
It was a fun story and actually my first by both authors. Guess I need to keep my eyes open for more!

Bad boy meets Ballerina
This was a good concept of a story. A secret socialite society, rich fraternity bad boy and a broken ballerina. They find each other unexpectedly, but have to work extra hard to stay together due to their secrets and social statuses. Leo and Adeline were a good match at times, and other times notsomuch. The narrator was good, but I had a a hard time following the change in characters or the tone of the situations at times. It was a good solid 3 star listen for me.
