Summary

From the best-selling author of the Graham's Resolution series comes book three in the Surrender the Sun series.

In an impossible situation, our story of a mini ice age starts with hopefulness spanning to heartbreak. How will Bishop and the others survive impossible odds as they seek to bring those they love to shelter. And is the Osprey, and all those on board, truly gone forever? How will Jax and the others make their way on such a perilous journey? The brutality of survival in this post-apocalyptic world leaves little hope for humanity after the Maunder Minimum. Perhaps they're lost after all.

boom!!! good read. But some disappointments too

m6 favourite voice over guy too just made this book perfect. would have like a chapter on jax at the end as his cliff hanger just got white washed. would like to have seen his reunion with his mate and with the little girl he had supposedly imprinted. bit careless to forget that as the reader had not. would have been nice to see them develop a relationship. Would a been funny to see jax adapt to living with a community and get it on finally with cook. lots if disappointing loose ends. but still a great read.

Well Written & Well Performed

I loved these books! All three could be stand alone novels, but as a trilogy they were fantastic! well written, considered and researched. The characters all hand inherentl strengths and weaknesses - just like real people. And such a change to have an apocalyptic novel that doesn't involve zombies!

Great series that I devoured in only a few days

It’s pretty hard to find a series narrated by Kevin Pierce that’s bad. I’m reviewing all three books since I pretty much listened to them all in two days. While the story isn’t alarmingly new it was definitely engaging and worth the credits I spent. I don’t want to give any details because honestly I don’t want to give spoilers.

Great SHORT Book

This is the 3rd book in this series and all three were a great read. But I am so tired of these 4 and 5 hour books if I had not already listened to the first 2 I would not have gotten this book because I am refusing to spend a credit for under 8 to 9 hour books. Kevin did a GREAT job as usual. I waited until I had no credits and purchased for 10 $ and change.

A Good Story

Letting go a bit from reality makes this book series a great listen. The narration was great and the author wrapped the storyline up in just three books, instead of some writers dragging things out. I recommend this book.

So good!

Great ending to an awesome series! When I saw how close I was to the end of the book was afraid you were going to leave us wondering. Thank you for that last chapter!

Well worth it.

One of my favorite dystopian series. It's not your normal prepper farm scenario. Thank you.

Over priced

As I have said before this author does a wonderful job writing these books but I think that nearly $15.00 for a 4 to 5 hour book is definitely over priced!!! The 1st book was A little over 5 hours as was the second book so if you add that up you are looking at less than 15 hours which could and less money for the customer have been 2 books I will definitely watch all of my purchases. I am a senior citizen and have a small amount of income.
I do enjoy A. R. Shaw’s Books(I hope that you will consider the price issue)but they are much, better with Kevin Pierce narrating them.
