Children’s books with much simple creativity

Sometimes children’s books can be too complicated or too clever for their own good. These are just simple and fun. There’s no agenda other than giving children a story to enjoy in it’s own right. Thank you much appreciated.

Adventure, animals and brain swapping !

An interesting range of topics from naughty moles, to red man and green man escaping the traffic lights to two boys creating a brain swapping machine. It’s all here. If you enjoy these, go and get the other collection by Ann Twigg

Good children’s books collection for young childre

We enjoyed these a lot, but I do have one criticism, more about that in a moment. We found these books different, inventive and entertaining. My daughter loves Ann’s soothing and sometimes exciting voice. I liked the way that these encourage the imagination and don’t try to push some sort of modern agenda. Very refreshing. My only criticism is that it would have been good to have had all of Ann’s books together in one collection rather than split into two. Some of the stories are out of order and it would just have been better. I bought the other collection from Ann, too.

Annoying narration style

Imaginative, inspiring stories for young children.

This is a brilliant collection of stories, perfect for young children and ideal for listening to when traveling. The collection includes eight different stories with imaginative themes to suit every child. They can learn all about a magical sunflower, find out what the tooth fairies really do with the teeth they collect, go on an exciting adventure with the men who live inside the traffic lights, meet Grumpy Grandad and laugh aloud at the fun him and Crazy Grandma have on their holidays, meet some very friendly caravans, take part in a brain swapping experiment and cheer on Maurice the Mole as he causes chaos in Grumpy Grandad's garden.

Fabulous bumper pack

This is a fabulous bumper pack of Ann Twigg stories. Ann twigg has written some lovely stories for children and my daughter often listens to these at bedtime or in the car. Her favourite Ann Twigg story has to be Lea's magic sunflower but we do like grumpy Grandpa's adventures too. This is a great way to listen to the different styles of Ann Twigg and be introduced to some of the characters before going on to listen to others in the collection. This collection is suitable for both boys and girls and up to the age of around 7 years old. Would recommend this bundle and it is great value too.

Collection of nice audiobooks for kids

My girls love bedtime stories. This collection went down well as a collection of short stories. Listening to stories before going to sleep offers a nice change from the screens that dominate our world at the moment. At least with audiobooks, it’s the imagination that is engaged.

Children’s books with a difference

I love that the stories are short because my boy’s attention span is just as short. Lea's Magic Sunflower story is about a little girl who finds that incredible things can happen when you plant a seed and watch and wait. The collection makes a good Bedtime Story collection too.

Adventure books with Animal stories

What a fantastic collection of children’s audio books! It feels way more expensive than what I paid. These are good as bedtime books, I have a 10-year-old daughter, and a 4-year-old daughter and I can listen to these with both of them. Ann used to hold the attention of young children with these stories at the school where she worked for a long time. Great listen.

Includes nice animal stories.

This collection contains short stories that are great for little ones. Grumpy Grandad loves his garden and he is at long last freed of the annoying mole that has been obliterating his work by burrowing. The creator Ann Twigg wrote these interesting stories to engage her grandkids and the small children at the school where she worked.

Enjoyable books for young children

I listento these stories with my 3-year-old daughter. Ellis and Archie in the “Brain Swapping Machine” are two young fellows who are given an endeavor of envisioning something spectacular for a scientist that is coming into their school. They need their model to be more noteworthy, better, and more stimulating than anyone else's. They envision a Brain Swapping Machine! Good fun.

Fun adventure stories for children

We enjoyed listening to the story about the red and green men’s adventures and learning of how they view their surroundings. It’s a great unusual idea for a story and we soon got in to the plot and felt submerged in their world. It is read beautifully with a soothing tone which makes it easy to listen to. The characters and settings are described well with detail. Without giving away too much, the plot introduces us to Mick the mail man and two friendly squirrels. A great listen.

Children's stories to build confidence for kids

Lovely children's stories by Ann Twigg. My little girl has struggled with selective mutism when she was younger and she seemed to relate to these with the shyness. We enjoyed listening to the adventure of the red and green men. A fun series to listen to and good as bedtime stories.
