Back to Darius' POV in this fourth installment of the Auctioned series.
Without giving away too much, I can say that this book has extremely sweet and tender moments of found domesticity, with Darius enjoying the quiet and a bit secluded life he now shares with his knucklhead, Gray, and teìhe two sweet boys they are now fostering.
But... there is still a trafficking ring to bring down, so mission planning is a thing and Darius is forced to un-retire once again from the private contractor job he is now coming to dread...
Action, family, frienship, everything you want from this story is there, now I’m on book 5 because I need more!

Long series can sometimes loose their way but five books in and I’m still gripped. I've read the books and now listening to the audios - I love the way the narration adds depth to the story but essentially it's the strength of the characters and plot that hold this all together. Really enjoying the growth of the characters and the cameos from other Cara Dee books like River and Reece, Able and Madigan. Can't wait for the next audio to come out, but on to book 6 in print.
