About this listen

In Play Poker Like the Pros, poker master Phil Hellmuth, Jr., demonstrates exactly how to play and win—even if you have never picked up a deck of cards—the modern games of poker, including: Texas Hold'em, Omaha, Seven-Card Stud, and Razz.

Phil Hellmuth, Jr., a ten-time World Champion of Poker, presents his tournament-tested strategies to beat any type of player, including:

The Jackal (crazy and unpredictable)
The Elephant (plays too many hands)
The Mouse (plays very conservatively)
The Lion (skilled and tough to beat)

Play Poker Like the Pros begins by laying out the rules and set-up of each game and then moves on to easy-to-follow basic and advanced strategies. Hellmuth teaches exactly which hands to play, when to bluff, when to raise, and when to fold. In addition Hellmuth provides techniques for reading other players and staying cool under pressure. There are also special chapters on how to beat online poker games and an inside look at tournament play.

Written and read by Phil Hellmuth, Jr.

Very little useful info.80% of the book is bla-bla that even beginners know.
2 stars only because I really like Phil as a player.

i enjoyed this so book so much, mostly because it was read by phil. his strategys are solid and has helped me improve my game no end, he also discusses the etiquette in poker, of which i knew very little about. the duration of the book isn't that long but i have re read it twice, to take it all in you will need to read it several times. well worth it, would like more poker books on audible. !

unless you literally want to learn the rules to different forms of poker, this book is a waste of time. There is almost no strategy, just Phil rambling on about hands he's won and hands that he's busted out of tournament with.

For stratagy, you're better of getting Annie Duke and John Vorhaus' book 'decide to play great poker'.

Dont buy this.....
