Ex fashion model and successful business woman Laura Ayars' perfect world is shattered at a time that should have been the happiest of her life. This was a great story. I guess, steeped in some history where you learn a lot about things you know nothing about. Loved it. It had been in my list for years and I just decided, ahh what the hell. It was very well read by the narrator and had some great twists and turns throughout.

So I met Harlan in March of this year (2023) in Dublin. And he told the room ‘if you think you’re a good writer then you probably aren’t!’ His self-depreciating introduction was just that! Humbleness - it was a great read/listen I loved the storyline and his delivery - I can only hope my first book is as cleverly thought and twisty as this. So goodbye to all the haters - if you like honest, fun entertainment then it’s a great book - don’t hold the fact he got better and better and even BETTER against him. It takes bravery to put your thoughts and feelings out there, I could only dream of thinking up such a creative first plot line. Keep on trucking Harlan!
