About this listen

We had the hottest hookup ever. And now, she’s having my baby.

I’m a carefree single guy.

A successful race car driver who enjoys hitting the track - hard.

I don’t do commitments.

Hell, I rarely even do repeats.

Until I spent the night with a gorgeous, funny woman who rocked my world.

No names. No identifying details. Just lots and lots of pleasure.

Until we meet up again at my older brother’s wedding. And guess what, she’s my brand new sister-in-law, Rylee Ford.

And apparently, now she hates me.

Oh, and she’s also pregnant. Surprise, I’m the daddy.

I’m so screwed.

Author’s note: Gage doesn’t start out as a single father...but it sure doesn’t take long for implantation to occur. Pit Stop: Baby is a standalone romantic comedy with a HEA ending and no cliffhanger.

This is the first book I've read/listened to by Taryn Quinn. You don't need to have read any of the other Crescent Cove books to enjoy this one, though I suspect many of the characters in this book appeared earlier in the series. I really enjoyed the writing style and would like to read more of the Crescent Cove series.

Normally I find it distracting when the second narrator chimes to voice the opposite gender during the first narrator's POV, but I think because there was a lot of dialogue and good editing that it worked in this situation. I'd like to give both the narration and the story 4.5 stars.

I haven’t listened to the other books in this series but as a stand-alone it was good. A quick fall in love with a hea!

The narration was very good I love this duel, duet combo.

This is a fun series where the women get knocked up really quickly, which becomes a fun joke in the books.

In this book, Gage, brother to Dare, and Rylee, sister to Kelsey, had a one night stand and then realized that they were now family, connected by the marriage of Dare and Kelsey. As always, this book is full of fun banter, lots of steam and just overall, great characters. I thought that Rylee was a little abrasive and Gage, while generally sweet, was a bit too pushy as well. (Although it was sweet how he was always thinking about Rylee). As always, the entertainment of this book set up my interest in reading the next installment. Boy, there are going to be a lot of babies in Crescent Cove by the end of this series!

I read the book and also listened to the narration and as with the prior books, Wen Ross and Kai Kennicott were the narrators and this was set up as a duet where the narrators interacted. What can I say but it was a perfectly done narration- I love their interaction, they are excellent narrators who play their roles (and multiple roles) really well. Their narration always add entertainment value to the story.

When I was finished with this I thought; I must have more of this author’s books because this was great.
No unnecessary descriptions of surroundings
Good dialogues
This was witty, sweet and packed with emotions.
Goood chemistry between the main characters that builds up to a great romance

Narrator:
Love them, clear pronunciation and read with feelings, two narrators is better than one

I recommend this 5 star overall surprise baby story

The chemistry between these two was amazing and the banter good I love the banter. I love that the characters don't just fall in love instantly. They know they need to learn more about each other but I love that they want to do so since they have a baby on the way. Good story. 🎧AudiobookObsession
