Summary
After Chloe and her daughter, Freya, are rescued from disaster by a man, Chloe decides she must find him again to thank him.
But instead of meeting her knight in shining armour, she comes across Nadine Caspian, who warns her to stay away from him.
The man is dangerous, Nadine claims, and a compulsive liar. Alarmed, Chloe knows that the sensible choice would be to walk away. But she is too curious. What could Nadine have meant?

Good potential, not fulfilled.
Where does Pictures or It Didn't Happen rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
Fairly high; Sophie Hannah seldom disappoints.

Yes, I have and this one is good too.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
No; the story is interesting but doesn't develop as it should. It could be longer. Sophie Hannah is very good at building up tension and she does this but it falls rather flat. The protagonist should have been more concerned about her child. The revelation of the true sociopath isn't developed properly. However, I did enjoy the book and shall continue to buy Sophie Hannah. I have read or listened to most of her books.

This was a daily deal. I love the daily deals; when one isn't quite sure about a book and is afraid of being disappointed, this is the ideal thing. Of course, one can return it if one likes. I have never done that.

Brilliant short story
Where does Pictures or It Didn't Happen rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
One of the best books I have listened to recently. Only 3 hours, but great if you want to pass the time on a long journey.

Well written and well read I loved all of it. The ending was a nice surprise.
