Totally fantastic story. Has you gripped right from the start, a must read for any zombie fan 😀

Book two of the last trilogy was a very hard hitting emotional book. A little nervous to listen to this one.
Both narrators are back. And are doing a great job. There are a few sentences said in the wrong voice. So sometimes Plummer will narrate Eric’s voice then next time it’s back to Daniels voice. It’s a little jarring but It doesn’t stop me from listening. The Narrators can be heard over headphones and Bluetooth speaker. The voice act well without shouting. So it’s enjoyable to listen. I found lots of moments where I laughed. Really enjoying this trilogy. Still listening with a little fear of what hell the author will put her characters through.

I love these books by Sarah Fleming. You couldn't have chosen better narrators. They are amazing. I can listen to them over and over and never get bored.

The only criticism I have of this series - is that sometimes it gets a bit too soppy. SLF does portray relationships and characters (at least from two viewing points) very well. The characters and people within these stories are really what make them. The post apocalyptic world in which we find ourselves - is, for me, convincing enough. It's certainly as good as any I've read/listened to before and better than many, The Josh Gayou Commune series are another strong favourite - again brilliant characters - slightly less of the RomZom. Searching around for a listing of which series of books SLF wrote when I did end up on romance.io - which sort of sums up some elements of the books pretty well. However - do not let that put you off. The storytelling is really good and if you like them long - you'll really enjoy this. The narration - for me at least - is perfect for the story. Both narrators do an excellent job and by the start of book three (where I am now) comfortingly familiar. I really like the character voice switching and find it pretty seamless.

Great series - if you like stories at the end of the known world - I'm sure you'll enjoy this series.
