About this listen

Sarah Lewis desires nothing more than to begin again after a failed marriage and a tragedy so terrifying, it forces her to leave her life in London to stay with her best friend a world apart in South Africa.

Despite immediate success in her business, she struggles to understand who she really is and where she belongs in the world. So begins a journey of discovery as Sarah re-unites with Katy in the land where she was born, where the air is lavender scented, and weekends are spent cycling on the beach.

Until the day when she has to return to London to face the ghosts of her past and confront a situation that has grown more complicated in her absence.

Perfect Imperfections is an intriguing tale which hints at wrongdoings and deceit without giving too much away. The author cleverly weaves a tale around fragile yet strong Sarah as she tries to reconcile her past with her future, engaging the listener to the point where we simply want the best for her and for happiness finally to come her way.

After recently listing to a lot of horror/thriller novels it was a nice change to jump straight into a book that has such a warm and fulfilling outlook. The author has an amazing way of describing everything that you feel that you can actually see the surroundings from the characters perspective. The reader is literally on the same journey with Sarah feeling what she feels and seeing what she sees. It's a beautiful and uplifting story that stays with you for days after you have finished listening . I also adore the fact that the narrator is so soft spoken and more mature which adds even more depth. I highly recommend to anybody wanting to get lost in a book . I was given this book from the narrator / author in exchange for an honest and unbiased review.

A beautiful and uplifting tale full of hope

I really enjoyed listening to this novel Perfect Imperfections by Taryn Leigh. It was beautifully written and a wonderful and emotional story about loss, love, forgiveness and friendship. It was excellently narrated by Nano Nagle. I would definitely recommend this and look forward to reading more novels by Taryn.

A complete change of genre for me. So glad I listened though. It’s a feel good, warm inside type of tale.
The beautiful descriptions of the scenery. The great characters, they are so real & learning more about them as the story unfolded made them solid people.
The changes in life were written about and how people overcome challenges.
A hopeful lovely story
