Story
Look, I didn't want to be a half-blood. I never asked to be the son of a Greek God. I was just a normal kid, going to school, playing basketball, skateboarding. The usual. Until I accidentally vaporized my maths teacher. That's when things started really going wrong. Now I spend my time fighting with swords, battling monsters with my friends, and generally trying to stay alive. This is the one where Zeus, God of the Sky, thinks I've stolen his lightning bolt - and making Zeus angry is a very bad idea.

Seven delightful stories from the inimitable Dr Seuss! The amazing stories are full of typical Seuss humour, rhyme and rhythm and are all beautifully illustrated. They include "The Bippolo Seed", in which a scheming cat leads an innocent duck to make a bad decision; "The Rabbit, the Bear, and the Zinniga-Zanniga", about a rabbit who is saved from a bear via a single eyelash; "Gustav the Goldfish", about a fish that grew and grew; "Tadd and Todd", a tale about twins; "Steak for Supper", about fantastic creatures who follow a boy home in anticipation of a steak dinner, and plenty more!

Story
The kingdom of Cornucopia was once the happiest in the world. It had plenty of gold, a king with the finest moustache you could possibly imagine, and butchers, bakers, and cheesemongers whose exquisite foods made a person dance with delight when they ate them. Everything was perfect - except for the misty Marshlands to the north, which, according to legend, were home to the monstrous Ickabog. Anyone sensible knew that the Ickabog was just a myth to scare children into behaving. But the funny thing about myths is that sometimes they take on a life of their own.

Summary
The fourth incredible adventure in the Percy Jackson series is now available to download, complete and unabridged, on audio.
"Honestly, blowing up another school was the last thing I wanted to do. As the son of a Greek god, I've had my share of near-death disaster. This summer, I didn't choose to battle the cheerleading squad, but when two hissing she-devils with fangs are heading straight for you, what's a half-blood meant to do?
"That was just the beginning. This is the one where my arch-enemy, Luke, is looking for a way to invade our camp via an ancient labyrinth. If he succeeds, thousands of bloodthirsty monsters will attack. So it's goodbye sunshine, hello darkness as four of us descend into the terrifying underground and beyond."

I absolutely loved this audiobook! I listened to it every day and late into the night! I didn't dislike a bit of it! I loved every bit. I would recommend this book to age 6+ as some of it has long words and gruesome deaths! I didn't mind though,I thought it was EXCELLENT!!! I chose this rating because the reading was read perfectly,it was exciting and there was no glitches or things going wrong! I can't wait/listen to the next audiobook/book!😊

Disappointing narrator
I love the book, as with all Riordan’s previous work but Jesse Bernsteins performance as the narrator was pretty disappointing. As someone who has listened to his rendition of the previous books in this series I take issue with his need to rely upon stereotypes in his voice acting so much. The affected accents for certain characters of other ethnicities takes away some of the work done by the author to offer an inclusive repertoire of characters. I worry about the decision to cast Bernstein when it is clear to me that any number of other narrators would have been able to do justice to the books without relying on such affected stereotypes. I only wish there was an alternative to this particular narrator.
