Very Adorable!

Thoughts On Plot: This is a very quirky and easy read. It could easily be read all in one sitting. It's wholesome and charming. Definitely a book that can be read during the holidays. It's light and fluffy. There's not too much going on. This book is perfect for reading during downtimes or times when the reader isn't really interested in reading heavy plot filled books. Thoughts On Characters: The characters were all quirky. None of them were really memorable. To be fair, it's really a very short read. It's not really a story that has a lot of meat in it. Not enough to fully get to know the characters. It's cute though and the characters are too. Notable Points In Book: This is a book that could be taken to family gatherings and parties. It's something that can be read during downtimes. Rating On Narrator: 3 of 5 Stars to Stephanie Quinn Thoughts On Audiobook: I really enjoyed the narration of this narrator. She made the book feel cozy and adorable with her voice. The only problem I had was her male voices. They came off a bit creepy and angry. Suggestions For Author: Other than making it a longer book, none that I can think of. Would I Recommend?: I would. It's a very light and fluffy read. I enjoyed it very much.

Christmas worries

This is a very quick listen by a very good author, unfortunately this story wasn't for me, this time round. It was too quick and left out a very important part, the mystery. It is great if you only have a short time to kill but I was left wondering who died, how, and why? It seemed to me the main character just jumped to the worse possible scenario at the jump of a hat and spent the whole book worrying about how it was going to ruin Christmas. I like the series and the characters, especially the way the daughter has taken up the mantle and become the investigator. Hope it improves with the next book. I liked the narrator and thought she tried the best she could. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Peppermint Latte with A Side of Murder

Sabrina and Dave Carlson are both still enjoying their retirement and the coming holidays with family. Then two things happen-- she runs out of butter for her cookies and her daughter, Jessica, calls to let her know that because of a case she might not make it to the family dinner. A murder investigation on Christmas Eve may ruin b plans but there's always a chance for a holiday miracle. Stephanie Quinn is a fantastic narrator whose voice soothes you but draws you into the story. Fantastic audio and story.
