Summary

Pepper Jones is ready to start breaking some records. She’ll be a junior in college, and if she wants to run professionally when she graduates, it’s time to step things up a notch. This time around, she knows it won’t be accomplished by ramping up her training. While Pepper’s hoping for a race day breakthrough, she wonders if there’s a mental barrier holding her back, and if so, how is she supposed to confront it?

Meanwhile, Jace Wilder wants Pepper back any way he can have her, but he’s reluctant to bulldoze his way into her life having already crushed her once (okay, probably a few more times than that) before. More scenes from Jace’s point of view in the book shed a new perspective into the character Pepper fans love to hate, and hate to love, delving into those layers he’s only given glimpses of in the past.

The Brockton crew is growing up. Zoe and Wes. Jenny and Rollie. Lexi and Brax. Bunny and Wallace. Pepper and...?

It’s time to find out what Pepper’s happily ever after will be.

Good Listen

Pepper has found out who she is without Jace. Jace has realized that he has messed up when he did not know how to handle his feelings and be with Pepper at the same time. Good Narration 🎧 Audiobook Obession

Loving this one

Jace's character makes up for everything in this book. You see more through Jace’s point of view in this story. Jace has much to make up for after two years apart from Pepper and now trying to get her back. I was needing this story after book 4 and how I felt about Jace and how he treated Pepper. This was a great ending for them. I enjoyed the narration from Stacy Glemboski throughout this series. 🎧 AudiobookObsession 🎧

Loved it

Wow Pepped Up Forever absolutely made up for the gut wrenching tale that was Pep Talk. This second chance romance made me fall back in love with these two characters. I loved seeing how much Jace changed and improved in this book and I loved that we again got dual POV giving us a look into the minds of both characters. Emotional, angsty with a little suspense this novel will have you hooked from start to finish and you will enjoy every moment of it. The audiobook was again narrated by Stacey Glemboski. She really got into character and brought out the personalities and emotions in the story. I loved listening to her narrate this novel and I would recommend it to lovers of NA sports romance. Forever Pepper

So glad that this was a second chance romance. You can see the growth from the last book. Last book gutted me and I was not sure I was gonna recover. This book made up for it. Glad to see Jace's point of view. Narration was great as always.

This one... might be my favorite!!!

Jase has finally figured his stuff out.... but it’s too late. Pepper can’t let herself be hurt any longer. So she is moving on. She is pursued by someone she went to HS with and decides to give him a chance. What happens is a whole lot of interesting reading!!! I love these books... and I absolutely adore Stacey Glemboski as the narrator for these characters!

another great book in the Pepper Jones series

Wow. These books are great. I love the Pepper Winters series. The narration, the excellent writing and narration. The characters. Everything about these books are just amazing. I had all the feels reading this book. I enjoyed getting to know Pepper and Jace better, and am looking forward to book 6, but hating it, because that means the series ends. Love it. a definite must read. 🎧AudiobookObsessionReviewer

Happily Ever After

Jace has to grow through his issues after his mother abandoned him again, but the tough part was winning Pepper’s heart again. Pepper has some struggles of her own to get through in this book, and she does. I do enjoy how this book ends. As always Stacey did an outstanding job with the narrative and bringing these characters to life! 🎧AudiobookObessionReviewer

Cynical Pepper, and this is not a good look on the girl that is usually optimistic, but I guess after the way the last book ends it makes sense. Hallelujah it has Jace scrambling ??? This story has some intrigue, suspense, and answers to past occurrences and Stacey did a great job telling it all.

Never Disappointing

It has been a bit since I finished the first four Pepper Jones books, so I was not surprised it took me a minute to remember the details. However, it is helpful to know that this takes place two years after the fourth book and there is not one in between. I kept thinking maybe I’d missed one, but thankfully I did not. I love the characters in this series and their ability to grow and change and exhibit different aspects of coming-of-age. I think Ms. Dean also does an excellent job providing well rounded characters and background information. That being said, I did feel that this book was a bit more rushed than the others. As always, Ms. Glemboski did a great job voicing the characters. Her consistency in the voices she chose for the characters throughout the series is amazing. It appears these have been released over at least three years and everyone’s voice is exactly the same from book one on. I am eager to read book six and sad that I believe it is the final one. I was provided with a free copy of this audio book for my honest review. The views expressed here are entirely my own.

jumping for joy

Finally!!!! Its so amazing to start wrapping up this series. There's still your typical relationship drama and as a reader looking in you will find yourself being frustrated with the couples decisions but towards the end I promise you'll be jumping with joy right along with the characters.

Loved the story of Pepper!

Finally the conclusion I was hoping for! All the mysteries were solved and I fell even more in love with the characters! I feel like we need stories based on some of the other characters now! (Wes)

More Pepper Please

In this book we she all the characters grow up a bit more and become committed to their futures. There is a twist in this one but I had figured it out in the last book but it was exciting to hear is Pepper saved from all the naysayers to a relationship between her and Jace? Ali is a gifted writer and to have this series play out over time is amazing done. Stacey Glemboski is a new narrator for me but I’m so going to check out her other audiobooks. She really showcases all of the characters and makes it easy to identify each one separately! Audiobook Obsession Reviewer 🎧🎧🎧🎧🎧

Love me some Pepper

‘This book leaves me missing the last bit of Peppers life as it jumps forward leaving me a bit bereft that we missed out on some of her story. Lots of characters and it seems a bit rushed. I still love this series and the characters created by the author and narrated by a great narrator.

I need more!

After book four, I couldn't wait to start this book. Talk about leaving a girl hanging! I love Pepper and Jace, so the push and pull at this point in the story was killer! However, Ali Dean doesn't disappoint. Trust her to get you where you need to go. These characters have a way of sucking you in and refusing to let you go. I'm so glad we started geting Jace's perspective in book four, because it made this book even better! I loved seeing where they were both coming from, and what they were both feeling. Not only do I love Pepper and Jace, there are such strong side characters in these books. They not only add to Pepper and Jace's story, but they are interesting on their own. I would love to see some spin-off stories. The narration for this book was well done. I enjoyed listening from beginning to end. #AudiobookObsession

Jace's Redemption

Two years later. Through therapy and self discovery, Jace wants to win back Peppers heart. but is it possible, after he did the unthinkable? He decides to show Pepper that his mind is in a better place and he still loves only her. But will Pepper trust him and slowly let him back into her heart? Stacey Glemboski narration flows from one character to another with ease. She brings the angst, raw emotion and personality to each character. I enjoyed listening to this story. 🎧audiobookobsessionreview🎧
