Summary

This is the fourth book in the Pepper Jones series, which should be listened to in order.

The first three books in the series may be purchased as a box set for a discounted price, under the title “The Pepper Jones Collection.”

Pepper’s freshman year at college is a harder transition than she anticipated. Uncertain of her coach’s expectations or her place amongst her new teammates, she struggles to redefine her running goals and identity on the cross country team. Pepper’s steady relationship with Jace should be a source of comfort as she navigates the college social environment, but an unexpected event throws everything between them off track. Also, hear from Jace’s point of view for the first time ever. Growing up is hard, and when you’re Pepper Jones, running may be the only way to help you get through it.

Enjoyable college sport romance.

Okay so I’ll grabbed this book without realising there was more back story in the previous books... it didn’t affect the experience for me. A young sport/ college adult romance that really grew on me- the beginning felt like I was catching for what I missed but as the story progressed I got mor and more engrossed in the story... but Jace though, omg!! This boy is frustrating beyond words as much as I want to understand his POV. Pepper is likeable and the angst is gripping in a real way, it feels so true to life!! Now onto the next book!

Good Addition to Series

Pepper is now a freshman in college and she must learn how to adjust to being one of the newbies on the team and the college life and being Jace's girlfriend on campus. She thinks she is adjusting until Jace freezes her out because of his drama with his mother. Good Narration 🎧 Audiobook Obession

Really Jace

As Jace and Pepper’s story continues I get more frustrated with Jace more and more. I had more hope for Jace in book 3, but in this book he made me mad again. I give all the credit to Pepper and her strength and felt for her as well. I will finish the series just to see how it ends. 🎧 AudiobookObsession 🎧

You will fall in love with a Pep all over again

Book 4 in the series . You will love this book 4 , showing how Peps life is in her first year in college. She’s feeling and acting like everything is falling into place . She’s making new friends, she meets Jace and makes a connection. Jacob doesn’t live on campus but close enough. But Jace is sending out hostil vibes . Why ? Does Pep distance herself from him . Does he regret his attitude. Both Pep and Jace are young and it shows in their actions . Stacey Glemboski Performance is fantastic. She does this story justice . Thank you audio book obsession for a great listen

Emotional

OMG...Pep Talk, the continuation of the Pepper Jones series was an emotional story and an excellent addition to the series. In this story we get both Pepper and Jace's POV which I loved as it was definitely needed. In the previous books we see external forces trying to separate these two but here they self-implode. Pepper's strength and further development is again highlighted in this book and I could not put it down. What an emotional rollercoaste!!!! Stacey Glemboski continued with her excellent narration of these characters and continued bringing the story to life. Highly recommended for lovers of NA sports romance.

Pepper proves her strength!!

Book 4 of the Pepper Jones story is a rough one. Even though Pepper and Jase are young, it looked like they were strong and meant to be. Jase gets his wish, he wanted Pepper gone from his life.. and he finally did what it took for that to happen. So... why, then, does he seem sad that she doesn’t need him any longer? More ups and downs for these young couples and their single friends. This story just makes me want to know more about all of these people. I’m on to Book 5!! Stacey Glemboski does a wonderful job with these characters and I love her voice.

Bittersweet cookie leaving you wanting another.

I loved this narrator, she had real feeling in her reading's characters. It was quite a ride to follow Pepper in her running career and her trials and triumphs on and off track. It was a pleasure to meet Pepper's gran. I had to keep a clip about the wisdom of keeping cookies in the house. Having Jace's viewpoint skillfully narrated helped maintain some sympathy for him too, with some good insight but the ending came too soon to not be frustrating. I haven't read the first three of the series, but there was enough reference to not interfere with this part of Pepper's ongoing story.

5 stars !

the more this story goes on the more I struggle to review, it is phenomenal! the writing is perfect the story line is gripping and the narrator makes you feel like you really know these characters and are sitting along side them as if you were actually there in real life , I cant rave about this series enough and will be gutted once I hit the end . 🎧 Audiobook Obsession Reviewer

Must Bring Tissues

I certainly will not give out any spoilers, but you will likely need tissues for this one if you have come to love these characters as much as I have. Once again, Ms. Dean provides a wonderful story about coming of age. Something I’ve noticed four books in that I really appreciate is the way Ms. Dean provides backstory from the previous books. She provides the facts, but she also reiterates the life lesson and the difficulties that the character and those around them went through to get to this point. My favorite example of this is that in an earlier novel Pepper’s drink was spiked while she was out. Ms. Dean never passes up an opportunity to remind readers of this and to explain what and how Pepper is handling it now (getting her own drink, watching while someone she trusts makes her drink, etc.). As a mother it is very heartwarming to hear these lessons over and over and to know that the younger readers will hear them too. I was provided with a free copy of this audio book for my honest review. The views expressed here are entirely my own.

Holy cow the emotions!!

Wow! I honestly wasn't sure if I could make it through this one. There were so many times that I wanted to smack the crap out of Jace! I hated the way he treated Pepper in this part of the story. I know he is having his issues with his mom and all but still. I loved how strong Pepper got though and put him where he belonged. Now to get book 5 and see how things go.

I love this series, but this book is frustrating! Have you ever read a book where you want to reach in and just smack the main characters. Still a good read and its a must if you're reading the series

The one is more angsty

The story continues and we see different sides to both Pepper and Jace as they navigate their own lives while watching each other from a distance. It’s what YA is all about and makes me retrospective oft youth. Again amazing narration by Stacey after this series I will definitely see what else she has done. Audiobook Obsession Reviewer 🎧🎧🎧🎧🎧

Rollercoaster of emotions

I am so emotionally frustrated with this book but in a really good way😉. This one will have you wanting to listen and wishing you could hurt a fictional character. Ugh I need the next one now. This also has a great narration.

Love, Uncertainty, and Transitions

This book continues our journey with Pepper and Jace beyond high school as Pepper begins college. There is a lot of transition and change that brought with it a lot of uncertainty. This book was full of ups and downs that pulled at my heart. I wanted everything to work out for both Pepper and Jace, but they had a lot to face in this book. While the drama was high, I was still cheering them on and hoping for their HEA even stronger than ever. I really like both of these characters, so I had a hard time stopping during this book! I needed to see them through to the end, and I was so glad I did, but I was also ready to dive right back in with book five! The narration for this book was well done. I read this book on Kindle first, so I already had voices in my head, but I still really enjoyed listening!
