Summary

Two women from different ends of the earth encounter destiny, and one another, on a South Pacific paradise. When Boston securities broker, Annabel Worth inherits remote Moon Island, she travels there to solve a mystery that has haunted her family. Dumped by her lover, laid off from her job, New Zealander Cody Stanton flees to the island seeking solace and solitude. Both women are burdened with secrets that could destroy the passion that ignites between them. When Hurricane Mary strikes, each must make a choice that will change her life forever.

unusual

Let me be clear. I really liked the book and Narrator Brittni Pope was as usual great. But, one of the characters one night stand, seriously!!! Don't want to say anymore so I don't spoil anything but wow it just ruined it for me!

meh!

this book wasn't very exciting. The two main characters barely spend any time together but somehow fall in love? it was hard for me to get that interested in either character. I'm also a little surprised with the ending. one of the women may or may not have had a one night stand with a stranger while they were sort of dating... and kept it a secret. the best thing about this audiobook was in the narration. the storyline just wasn't that good.
