About this listen

Whether your child has only been recently diagnosed with ADHD or you’ve been living with their condition for quite a while, it’s normal for parents to feel worried, overwhelmed, and exhausted most of the time.

However, keep in mind that ADHD is a condition, not a life sentence. It’s entirely possible for your young one to succeed because of their condition–not despite it. The key is learning how to address your child’s condition properly and consistently at the soonest time possible–the earlier you manage it, the higher their chances of success and happiness.

Fortunately, this book is filled with all the things you need to know about dealing with ADHD without having to lose sleep, patience, and sanity in the process. Inside, here is just a small fraction of what you will discover:

  • Fool-proof parenting strategies to help your child thrive…whether at home or at school
  • The most common misconceptions and fears about ADHD: It’s time to debunk the myths and unleash the truths about this disorder.
  • Three types of ADHD and their symptoms: Become a better parent for your child by fully understanding what they’re going through.
  • The positive side of ADHD: Learn why and how your child can benefit from their condition.
  • Effective strategies to manage ADHD–from natural remedies to medications and therapy options
  • How to build your child’s social skills and improve their executive function skills–help them make and keep friends
  • Over 18 self-care tips for parents: Avoid burnout and continue being a super parent to your little one!

With your help, your young one can rise above their challenges, beat the odds, and grow up as a confident and high-achieving adult. Don’t let ADHD become a roadblock on your child’s way to success

I learned a lot from this practical book full of facts on the subject and learned more about common misconceptions about what ADHD is and its causes. After applying the strategies from this book, I am suddenly more patient and I now understand my nephew better. I think the first step to making things better is understanding. After noticing specific improvements, my brother has now borrowed this book to acquire this expertise to prepare his kid for school.

The narration of the book was very good, and the voice was pleasing to the ear so that you would want to continue listening. The content, as discussed above, was adequate.

This was very insightful. It gives you everything you need to know to help your child make the most of the situation. It walks you through the symptoms to look out for in children presenting with ADHD, strategies to manage ADHD, and how to build their social skills and improve their executive functioning skills . There’s a wealth of resources in this book which includes podcasts, apps, support groups, and how natural healing can be used in chapter 9.

Apparently, There are famous people that have ADHD, who have gone on to accomplish a great deal which means that various characteristics of ADHD, when channelled in a productive manner, can help to achieve great success! Other practical tips learned from this book is how to speak with young children about the condition, not dwelling on negatives and problems, but refocusing efforts and channelling curiosity into creative adventures. You need to see and hear this by yourself!

Very helpful and informative!

Having a good guide on how to make life better for your ADHD child can be a great help and I think this audiobook is going to help a great deal. We need our ADHD child to feel normal and to cultivate normal friendships, this book helps with that. It's well-produced and wonderfully narrated. Great book.
