What a treat getting to listen to this recital of all the books of Paradise Lost, I was so hoping this would happen!

As I said in my previous review of Books I, II, and IX, I can now enjoy all the books from the same wonderful narrator. Listening to this performance proves that, as Satan says, "the mind is its own place" the right voice can truly make a heaven of Milton's demanding verse.

Highly recommended in this format. I've always found reading Paradise Lost a challenge and rather daunting, so listening and reading along helps a lot.

The student guide is quite cute and funny, I'm not a student, but it's a lovely addition with a brief summary of each book.
