Summary

In the Pandorax System, on the death world of Pythos, an ancient secret that has laid buried for millennia has been unearthed....

Ignorant of this terror, troopers of the Catachan 183rd, stranded on Pythos and under the command of Colonel 'Death' Strike, find themselves under attack by the forces of Chaos. Daemons in their thousands flock the sky, and none other than Warmaster Abaddon leads the attack.

With the Death Guard and Black Legion arrayed against them, the Catachans appear to be doomed, until salvation arrives in the form of the entire Dark Angels Chapter, led by Master Azrael and a host of heroes. But what is the so-called 'Damnation Cache'? What secrets does it harbour and why has it also attracted the attention of the daemon-hunting Grey Knights?

Everyone and his dog

I enjoyed this book. Non stop action but with good humour.

Whole chapter of dark angels with some well named characters.

Gareth Armstrong does a great job of narration. Good voices. Loved his Corpelax voice.

Terrible

I wouldn’t mind that the story isn’t true to the established lore of it was actually good. Don’t waste your time with this one, it’s definitely worth a miss.

Decent action but a pretty confusing ending

Decent book with okay narration. Confusing ending especially if you're a dark angel fan. I loved the portrayal of Asmodai's voice, pity he only had one line or so.

good story, questionable voices.

Story was quite enjoyable though the voices done by the narrator were a bit iffy.

Wow!

I bought this on a whim, wasn’t disappointed! Grey knights, Dark angels, black legion, plague marines, red corsairs, plague lords, Abbadon, Heldrakes, Bloodthirsters and more! A very good listen that’s well worth the credit!

Cadians , Mordians, catachans, ordo malleus, Dark angels and grey knights, plague lords and Abbadon!! Only the end left me feeling low, not because it was bad but Epithemius ......

audio

the only reason I give this book one star is that the audio is so low that its to the point of not worth listening to. If the audio ever gets an upgrade then I will properly rerate the book.

Dark Angels Lover

A very good WH40K book, it covers both the glorious Imperial Guard, and the Adeptus Astartes. For Dark Angels fans I can honestly say, that these will enjoy this book the most. Yet, I believe most 40K fans will like the story, and find the plot twists and cliffhanging Chapter endings to their liking :) The narrating is good, and it is easy to "hang on" as the story progresses. Overall I would say it is very Worth listening to!

Pandorax- an Imperial guard battles novel

Good story and fluff, but really all but one of the Space Marines are the weakest part of it. This book shines when it focuses on the Catachans and Inquisitorial agents, both in story/writing and voice acting.

The other problem is the audio is too low. Id have my volume to max and still couldn't hear parts in my jeep. You really need a quite car or to be in a quiet place to listen.

The Most Loyal Chapter

Best Dark Angels book I’ve listened to by far and it’s not even technically a Dark Angels book.
