Summary

Two-Book Bundle: Overthinking and Master Your Thinking

Overthinking (Book 1) - Do you tend to over-analyze everything? Do you have trouble getting to sleep? Do you worry about the future?

This book aims to help you identify the reasons why you are constantly overthinking, and you will also learn a couple of tips and techniques on how you can pull yourself out of the death spiral of overthinking before you can fall in any deeper.

You will learn:

  • What are the symptoms of overthinking
  • How to challenging your thoughts
  • How to implement active problem solving
  • How to practicing mindfulness and what mindfulness is not
  • What do you need to do to be more mindful
  • How to dealing with procrastination

Even If your overthinking problem is not that serious, you can use the tips in this book to make your symptoms more manageable.

Master Your Thinking (Book 2) - Would you describe yourself as someone who has trouble finding the positive spin on things? Do you want to be a “glass half full” kind of person, but consistently find yourself feeling stuck in that “half empty” mindset?

Now, what can you expect to really find out more about in the audio of Master Your Thinking? Here are just a few topics that will be further discussed, if you read just a bit further:

  • Thinking traps, and how to avoid them
  • What healthy thinking is in the world today, and how the meaning of those words has changed and evolved over time
  • Ways to find balance in your life
  • Reasons you may be experiencing the negative feelings and thoughts you’re plagued by
  • How to reasonably navigate your way through the modern world, which may seem bleak at times
  • And many more!

The decision to listen further is, of course, up to you. Like all things, the choice is ultimately up to you, the listener, to determine what is best for you, yourself, your wellbeing, and your future. The things you see if you should listen further - all of them will come into play either now in your life or soon. Healthy thinking or lack thereof, affects us every single day of our lives, and to simply ignore it would be neglect of our own wellbeing and our futures.

Easily fixed mistakes left unfixed.

I just don’t understand why when the reader makes a mistake, instead of doing it over and editing out the mistake, you hear him giving an “uh no not again” sigh. And then he continues. It seems unprofessional.

Besides from that i really didn’t learn anything knew here.

So Many Mistakes Left In!

I was quite shocked to hear not one, but at least 5 mistakes made by the voice over fellow left in unedited! Very unprofessional and substandard of Audible to list a poorly edited book.
Shame, as some of the content was interesting. I couldn’t finish it though.

Practical and useful information!

I really enjoyed listening to the Time Chunking Method. I work long days but even so, I can see lots of wasted time periods. The time chunking method is helping me maximize my day. A very helpful product.

Like the detailed explanation

Found this book to be informative and I like the author's writing flow. I've ordered more of his books and look forward to putting them into action.

Good starting point

Basic & simple. A good one to start out in this subject. Narration was hard to listen too. Slow and monotone. Upping the listening speed helped. Maybe try the book? My friend liked the audio though. 1st book is simple and I've heard it all before. Took it as reminders. 2nd book was more advanced, however still simple. Took away good reminders. Don't need to listen to both books if you're advanced, just listen to the 2nd

Much better than the average

I have read many a book on time management & this is one of the better ones. Written informally, this short read kept my attention and gave good, basic advice. I liked the way the author used his own life experiences as examples.

Good Guide

I enjoyed this guide. I'm a novice at time chunking and this guide gave me the basics and lots of ideas for modifications to the base system that was useful. Worth the read.

What a great, detailed but small guide!

This book has inspired me to apply the Pomodoro technique in my weekly life. I'm grateful of the easy application steps and recommend this to anyone! I didn't know anything about Pomodoros until I read this book but now I'm using it in my busy life.

Straight to the point.

Very quick read. Tried the method at work and it seems to help. Instead of working until it’s done, it’s workung until your time is up and on to the next time chunk.

Fast, Easy to read and to the point!

I really appreciate that Damon wrote a book on a productivity technique and kept it short, sweet and to the point. I am beginning to implement his technique and find what works for me.

High Reccomended!

Anyone looking to improve their productivity should read this book and then apply the technique without further research. Damon's perspective is from a 'work at home' point a view but the techniques, tips and examples given can be applied to office workers.
