Total waste of time

Just a quick general summary of what social anxiety is. The very few tips this book gives are childish. Be clean, comb your hair and do small talk. Just skip this. No actual tools on how to overcome anything.

Great info!

It tells you that you should think this way and not let it control your life but it doesn't tell you how to do it. It's a good listen for the first half and might motivate you a little but without a solid plan it doesn't last

Good information better than expected

This one was different. It had actual advice I could follow. Am i totally cured? No of course not, it is not that simple but i am a LOT better and feel i get better every single day. Narration was good but at times her voice could be a tad irritating.

This book is way more helpful than I thought it would be. I consider myself moderately educated on social media strategy and yet I am still learning from his book.

This book helped motivate to be more social than how to be social, but I refer this book to my other introvert friends because I think it can help them too

self confidence

The book has value for all ages and stages of life. The author's website has been used extensively at our house and helped our son overcome some of his anxieties in social groups. As parents it gave us greater insight and was a great starting point for conversations. Happy to see that he EXPLAIN this book!

honest and practical

Excited to finish this book. It is honest and straight forward. It doesnt have that unrealistic positive magic pill vibe. It says things as they are and that it takes time, practice and effort to develop your social skills to the level you want them to be.

pretty decent self-help piece

I believe in this pretty decent self-help book that I vowed myself to meditate on it day and night until I learn to embrace the truth and start to make a change. The self-help strategies are reasonable and healthy and helps in managing my social fears.

helpful

This was a good book for those people who do struggle with social anxiety. The best part is that it identifies the thought process of social anxiety, and then teaches how to re-train the brain away from those patterns

Great book!

This book provides very helpful information about social anxiety, and in real life I try to do everything alone, take courses online, shop online, avoid talking to people when I’m outside, living like a “lone wolf”, and I’m always worried about other people’s opinions, so this book speaks to me in a way.
Listening to this audiobook is one step closer to getting me out of the shell, and I really appreciate the practical advice and strategies the author offers, and I've learned more about myself and social anxiety than yesterday.
And I'm ready to take the strategies provided by David into action.
