Iris is happy: decent job, good friends, her own flat. Everything but her own family. She and her husband Tom were trying for a baby when he left her for his life coach, Maddy, four years ago.

One day Iris' best friend Fay sends her an Instagram video of Maddy, now a successful family influencer with a huge following, posting wholesome videos with her husband Lee and their three-year-old twins. Tom is nowhere in sight.

So what did Iris end her marriage for? Needing answers, she delves into Maddy's life. Just how much can you hide behind an online persona?

Quickest I've read a book in a very long time. Sharp, thought-provoking and utterly addictive - I genuinely did not want to put it down (SARAH TURNER, author of STEPPING UP and THE UNMUMSY MUM)
A brilliant tale of life, relationships, rejection and family
The queen of the revenge novel returns with a delightfully dark read about Maddy, a content creator whose brand is all about wholesome family life, and Iris whose marriage she destroyed. Oof! For a thoughtful and clever takedown of influencer culture and simply a damn good and gripping read, Over Sharing gets all my likes (Sarra Manning)
It's a joy - a smart, sharp revenge comedy, with plenty of lols too
Jane Fallon's wicked wit shines through in this unputdownable revenge thriller (Isabelle Broom)
A deliciously dark read. Oof! (Sarra Manning)
I'm a big fan of Fallon's twisty, sharp and emotionally intelligent novels, and I'm delighted to report this latest is just as compelling as the rest . . . Fabulous
A wonderful modern-times storyteller...Jane Fallon's books never disappoint (RUTH JONES)
Jane Fallon's razor-sharp wit runs through this novel. With sparky lead characters and sharp insights into the world of influencers, Fallon has delivered another laugh-out-loud funny read (Charlotte Heathcote)
Clever, fun and so good!

I had to keep adjusting the speed as Iris gabbled and Maddie dragged everything out plus Lee did to. I was up and down moving the speed up and down. A modern parable of social media with at least a reasonable finale. Underwhelming.

Awkward narration throughout

Despite what others say, I did not find the narrators annoying.
Loved the plot and the twists along the way

Another cracker

For most of it I had to juggle the reading speed with each change of character - Iris l gabbled so much I turned her down to ,85, but then had to switch up to normal speed for Maddie (who I didn't find as annoyingly sweet as some reviewers) - really aggravating if you're doing something else while listening. It's not much if a spoiler to say the story is a depressingly accurate portrayal of internet trolling, though with redeeming features. Not great, not hideous. Probably worth a credit

The most memorable thing about this was the differing speeds of the narrators!

This was a good story but sadly overshadowed by the vast difference in reading speed between narrators. I managed to change the speed up and down according to who was speaking, but it made the listening process a bit of a chore rather than an enjoyable experience.

A frustrating listen

Really enjoyed the story, as usual with Jane Fallon an easy listen with engaging characters. The main narrator is great, but the second female character talks so slowly & sickly sweetly it is off putting. The male narrator is pretty slow & dull too. Perhaps how Jane had the 2 characters in mind! Not so bad it would put me off recommending the book.

2 slow narrators but the main one is great!
