I enjoyed listening to the book and the narration was good. It was a good escapism listen.

I liked the writers characterisations but it did annoy me slightly that the narrator kept saying “i said” or “character name said”. It’s not needed. I suppose I’m used to either multiple narrators or the narrator using different voices you can recognise as the different characters. Richard Armitage in particular is a perfect narrator. But all that said this is the genre I do enjoy.

Good premise but no clarification

Billed as a thriller but nothing thrilling happened. The narrator is monotonous and wooden making the lack of story even more apparent. Ever piece of dialogue is followed by Blake said or Kit said or whoever it’s dreadful and makes it hard to listen. The main character is supposed to be all vulnerable but I chewed my cheeks every single time some minute drama happens detracts from her vulnerability again the constant repetition of something makes it a hard listen. I’m glad I didn’t waste a credit

Wow truly awful
