About this listen

Stranded on a sentient moon with nothing but their enhanced intuition and the help of a bygone deity, the survivors of a post-human race set out to investigate the sudden disappearance of their enemies. What they find might plunge the universe into oblivion.

Galaxies away, after a narrow escape from Niflheim, the god of the dead and the goddess of writing forge an alliance with a Nephilim to uncover the fate of the all-but-forgotten goddess of memory when they receive a distress call from the god of reckoning.

Oublié takes us on a weird journey of self-discovery and deception, where memory and truth are at odds with each other and the fate of both gods and mortals hangs in the thin balance between trust and faith.

It goes without saying that anyone who has read Susana's books to date needs to add this one to their collection.
I would consider this a Side Story to the main Timelessness saga, rather than a stand alone novel set in the same universe, as it expands on the characters (gods mostly) and plot (even tying up one or two loose ends perhaps) we've come to know well from the original series.
That said, I think it would still be very enjoyable as a first dip into her universe of machiavellian and mischievous immortals from multiple mythical pantheons. This one just has more of a Sci-Fi twist...
Sarah Kempton gives another great reading, with reappearing characters being instantly recognisable from the previous books, and she really brings the sharp wit of the writing to the fore.
My only caveat would be that the pace of the book really picks up towards the last few chapters and even Sarah seems unable to slow the pace as she reads. I found flicking the speed to 0.9X helped me keep up myself :)
