About this listen

Do you need my help?
It was always the first question he asked.
They called him when they had nowhere else to turn.

Raised and trained as part of a top-secret programme, he was sent to the worst places in the world to do things his government denied any knowledge of.

Then he broke with the programme and disappeared. But now someone's on his tail. Someone who knows he was once known simply as Orphan X.

An excellent vigilante / government conspiracy thriller. Wasn't sure I'd enjoy this given its not my preferred genre, however I found it very gripping, and really didn't want to put it down.
Once again Scott Brick turns in a flawless performance.
I'll be looking out for more Hurwitz stories for sure.

This is a book you want to end so you know what happens but you don't want to end because it's so good. Scott Brickputs his usual enthusiasm into the narration and I bought the next book of the series before even getting to the end of this one as I want to know what happens to Evan next.

A genuinely fascinating story, which raises some interesting moral questions. The story moves along briskly, well written with excellent characterisation. You genuinely care for "Orphan X" and his story, trials and tribulations are absolutely absorbing and compelling. A thoroughly deserved 5 stars from me
