Only for You by Maura Burd is full of suspense, tension, romance and intrigue. I really enjoyed the story with its characters and not so obvious relationships. Ashley Taylor was magical bringing the characters to life with her performance. One could feel the emotions and easily differentiate the character voices. I loved the premise of this book, where the main couple meets at an online poetry group. I will definitely listen to more books by this author and narrator.

This story will have you on the edge of your seat wondering if you can trust anyone. Mattie is quiet and has not dated in a while when her boss suggests she check out a website. She meets a man that will in the end change her life. Kyle is stuck in life caring for his extended family and its a full time job. He is kind of at their beck and call. When surrounded by this bunch that you keep giving and not getting anything back something bad is bound to happen. Nice Narration by Ashley Taylor.

This book had it all. Fantastic storyline with so much action. I couldn’t stop listening. Great characters with lots of chemistry. Excellent narration from Ashley.

This was the first book that I’ve listen to by Maura Burd and is is a fabulous story. The story is a shorter but packed with an excellent storyline. It has murder, corruption, suspense, rapists, cheating spouses, intrigue, violence and abnormal (dysfunctional)family. This is a wonderfully well written story that will have you on the edge of your sit wondering what will happen next. This book will have you suspecting a lot of the characters.
This writer has a way of building up the anticipation of the story.
The narrator bring the characters to life with her narrations of this story. I think she does a fantastic job with the telling of this storyline and I’m looking forward to more by this narrator! Fabulous story with a fabulous narration!! I definitely recommend this book.
My only regret is that it isn’t a longer book.

Maura Burd's Only for You has a little bit of everything. I was in the mood for a good romantic suspense and this delivered tenfold. Maddie Jackson meets Kyle Bruno from an online poetry site. From the minute they meet, something is suspect. I could feel it in the story with nothing being said! Is Maddie being watched? Is Kyle a good man? What is up with Maddie's co-worker? As I listened and got to know the different characters and their overlapping relationships, it became harder and harder to figure out why the tensions were so high. It's the best kind of suspense! Plus the budding relationship between Maddie and Kyle is sweet, sexy and full of passion. If you love stories with that slow build of intrigue, then this one is for you!

Narrated by the talented Ashley Taylor, it flows so easily. She has such a great array of voices, it's easy to hear who is speaking. I loved the way she is able to build up the suspense and keep it high til the end. It's a great listen!
