An advertisement lurks within

I like the content and subject matter, but my enjoyment was disrupted by a nasty advertisement for the narrator's 7-day self-help retreat or something equally repellent. Note to self: in the future, do homework on the publisher before making an Audible purchase of 20+ hrs of content.

Wow! Talk about value!

I really enjoyed listening to the philosophers. Knight Writer has created his own content, which was motivating. His reading of some of the content sounded like a robotic news anchor sometimes, but not with every book. The value comes in because I was introduced to so many books that I otherwise wouldn't have been, books on mindfulness, meditation, and happiness. My favorite book is towards the end and its called: "as a man thinketh." So good!

This book has nothing to do with Seneca

Would you try another book from Lucius Seneca and/or the narrators?

Yes, but this audiobook was not it.

What was most disappointing about Lucius Seneca’s story?

There is very little to do with Seneca in this book. Its a mixture of many things most of it to do with sales. Very annoying.

What didn’t you like about the narrators’s performance?

In a word...Hated the performance!

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?
