Happy to know it's a Freebie

Sorry might have been good if I could have ignored narrator.

Bored after 5 chapters - did try three times to listen but couldn't get on with the narrator.

Whining voice of narrator

I’d have enjoyed the story much more if the whining voice of the narrator hadn’t made me want to throw the device out of the window

A good story but lost track - see comments below

There needs to be a gap between different ‘scenes’ I just got confused as to which character I was listening too

Overall ok

I struggled with the narrator at the beginning, she doesn’t change her voice for the different characters in the book. This makes it hard to work out who’s talking. The story was ok, the police was portrayed as somewhat dimwitted which I didn’t like too much. I’ve read better books

An engaging listen

A detective story that didn't involve repetitive swearing or heavy bouts of drinking was a refreshing change. The storyline was multi-faceted and the characters were well drawn out. Look forward to the next installment

Not For Me

I did make it to the end of this book. Just. The characters are not bad and the narrator does a good job. But the story rambles too far and too much. Making it so I did not really care. Shame. I had high hopes

Awful narrator

Thankfully it was free! Dreadful breathy narration. Might be a good story, I could not bear to listen.

Overall, I enjoyed this story

The Narrator seemed to read the story as if to herself. The same northern accent for all the characters from all parts of the UK. Very distracting. Story was entertaining.
