Özet
In the final book of The Icarus Code, Mars is one giant step closer to life outside the domes, but the fate of both worlds lies in the hands of Tobias Shepherd, a disillusioned cult leader. He thinks Earth is beyond hope, but still believes he can save the chosen few he has brought with him to Mars.
Claire knows the truth—the Ufretan Alliance will destroy any world in its path that might one day be competition. But can she reach Shepherd and make him see reason? Or will the Alliance reach him first and send the signal that will annihilate both planets?

It started off much better than it ended
Unfortunately it’s a story of multiples and that adds significant confusion for the listener
There is too much time spent on all three competing stories ie the actual spinets, the history or mars and modern day Earth. Instead of flowing and joining they collide with each other.
The narrators are on the whole ok but these must be the worst American versions of Scottish accents ever in the history of the universe.
As a uk citizen who spends a lot of time in Scotland the repeated absolutely diabolical attempts at Scottish literally made me want to give up on the books. It truly is terrible and it would have been better to have not even tried. Honestly awful, horrible, almost insulting.
If you can’t do it don’t try it ruins the narration
Interesting ideas but didn’t really work
