Summary

"Wait. Do you mean to tell me that I’m pregnant with freaking twins the day after I lost my freaking virginity? Or am I totally misunderstanding this conversation?"

“No, Luke. You're actually expecting triplets”, she informed him happily.

I barely caught Luke before his head hit the floor as he fainted.

When orphaned omega Luke wakes up from a coma after being struck by a car, the last person he expects to see at his bedside is uptight pack leader Daniel. Daniel is not only an alpha, but he is actually claiming to be Luke's alpha! Can Luke trust this claim with his sense of smell suddenly gone and his wolf not responding?

Daniel knows that Luke is his mate...if the stubborn omega won't take him at his word, then he will just have to romance the heck out of him until he does! Daniel is skilled at planning, but does he have the skills to plan his way into convincing his omega to accept Daniel as his fated mate?

This is the fifth book of the Northern Lodge Pack series. Every book is about 30,000 words and guaranteed to have an HEA. You can listen to them on their own, but it's advised to listen to them in order for maximum appreciation. 18+ listeners only please! And yes, this book contains M/PREG, knotting, adults doing lots of sexy naughty things to each other, and the more than occasional use of potty-mouth language.

Love this

This is one of my fave books in the series and audio just made it 100% better. Susi can't write a bad book to me... And sometimes when I have a lot of chores I put this in and entertain myself! I can't wait for Peppermint Spiced Omega on Audio!

Really enjoyed this a lot

Fantastic listening Luke made me laugh out load lots of times. This is a fabulous series but this has to be my favourite so far. Susi certainly knows how to write a good book. John Solo brought the book alive. Some very funny lines in this book.

Short and Sweet

This was a sweet and thoughtful story. Daniels skills are more than just about planning, he has a skill for researching. He doesn’t stop after finding the first answer, but he digs and puts thought into the meanings and acts he takes to show Luke they are mates and he will wait for him.

Luke can go by what others say, and even try and trust the feelings he has for Daniel and taking him at his word, but why stop the romance? He can’t smell his mate due to the accident, and his crush for Daniel started long before he was told the two are mated.

I love that Luke waited. He let himself accept the gifts and sweet moments he had with Daniel. Luke deserved it all. I enjoyed this story, but at times the narrator was a little hard to follow as the voices sounded similar. I'd still listen to it again and I would recommend it to anyone who likes quick, short and sweet shifter romances.

A Sweet Story

This is the fifth book in The Northern Lodge Pack Series. This is for the audiobook version. This was a sweet book the writing was good. The plot was entertaining and it was steady throughout the book. I found the story and characters delightful. The characters were developed and thought out. Daniel is an Alpha and Luke is an Omega and they are the MC’s of this book and mates. There was humor, wolves, family and friends, shifters, roses, an accident, injuries, a plan and so much more in this book.

Here is a quote from the book, “Please, honey. I’ll slay dragons for you. I’d even hunt down dinner and kill it with my bare hands, just please don’t ask me to move again for a week. Maybe a month. Definitely not longer than a year.” “…, did I get an old man for a mate?” I teased.”. There is more but you will need to read the book which I can recommend as a good listen.

Although the narrators voice didn’t work for me. Unfortunately, I am very picky about voices. His voice did work for the story however. He did a good job narrating. He wasn’t monotone, and each character had their own voice. These are the 2 most important things for a narrator to do. So overall it was well done. I voluntarily read an advance copy of this book for an honest review.

Adorable and Sweet

I jumped into this series with this book, so I was a little nervous about not having listened to any of the previous books, but I had no problems enjoying the story and didn’t feel lost at all. This was an adorably sweet story about an Alpha who had to get creative and win over his omega. Daniel who is the second in command and has a serious type A personality,////////// rises to the occasion and proceeds to win over the younger Luke with the sweetest and well thought out plan. But will it be enough for Luke to believe that Daniel really is is fated mate?

This story was adorable and I was really impressed with the details of the story line. It was easy to see the adoration between the two characters and how that grew into something more. Daniel was wonderfully caring and patient and Luke was so endeering, I loved him instantly, although at times I did feel like he was portade a little to juvenilely with the way his thought process was addressed.

The narrator was great! His range of voices is really impressive and I found myself double checking more than once to make sure that there was only one narrator performing this. I was really impressed. My only complaint, was that I found the voice he used for Luke to be a little too childish which added to my complaint earlier about how over all he was portrayed just a little too youthful. But over all this did not interfere with my enjoyment of the book.

If your looking for a sweet, charming mpreg, shifter series this is definitely the one for you. Now, on to the next one!

Can Luke trust his heart?

Luke and Daniel are fated mates, right? He’s told they are, but without a sense of smell who’s to say for sure? Not Luke. So Daniel commences a “romance his omega” campaign. Be ready for a sugar coma. Light, fluffy and sweet, this is a fun listen with no angst. It’s a great addition to the Northern Lodge series, contains mpreg and more adorable pups than adults I think! No complaints here, I adore mpreg that actually shows the family‘s lives. It’s what makes this series a winner for me.

ADORABLE!!

I totally love this story. Luke and Daniel are fated mates but since Luke lost his sense of smell because of an accident, he can't be totally sure that Daniel is really his fated mate. So unlike most stories of fated mates, Daniel has to romance and woo Luke in order to gain his love. I love everything Daniel does, he puts so much effort and thought into all that he does for Luke. It's a great story that should not be missed. The narration is really good, the narrator did a spectacular job of bringing the story and characters to life. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

great listen!

We finally get Luke. He is grown up enough to get his own story. Daniel is just adorable doing his best to get Luke to want to date.
John Solo is a wonderful narrator. He is new to me. I am so impressed with the things he can do with his voice.

Have you tried Mpreg yet? If not, try this series

Daniel is such an organized wolf, keeping the pack together. Luke is young and smells like lemon drops. I love the idea that a fated mate smells like something that you adore which allows you to find them. Bravery, adventure and sexiness abound in this book. I've already listened to it twice!

Terrific!

This is a sweet, fast-paced story. The narrator brought the characters to life. There were a few moments of suspense that had me on the edge of my seat. This is a great story.
