About this listen

In his controversial New York Times best seller, The Roots of Obama’s Rage, Dinesh D’Souza answered the question on everyone’s mind: why is President Obama hell-bent on seeing America fail? The reason, D’Souza explained, is Obama’s fervent anticolonial ideology. Here, in his blockbuster follow-up, Obama’s America, D’Souza shows how President Obama is applying his anticolonial ideology to unmake America and turn it into a country our founders would hardly recognize.

Obama came into office with an eight-year plan for America, argues D’Souza. If he’s reelected in 2012, he will be able to finish the job—and destroy America’s future. Making the case that Obama must be a one-term president, Obama’s America reveals what unchecked power will do to this great nation and is a must-listen for anyone who cares about America and her future.

Dinesh D’Souza is the president of King’s College in New York City and author of the New York Times best seller The Roots of Obama’s Rage. He is also a former White House domestic policy analyst and research scholar at the American Enterprise Institute and the Hoover Institution at Stanford University. His other best-selling books include What’s So Great about Christianity, What’s So Great about America, and Life after Death. He lives in New York with his wife and daughter.

Very good book. Too many people who only take a minium amount information regarding politics and politicians and also those willfully blind see Obama through rose tinted glasses including myself during Obamas first term, im also from the UK, but from about 2010 I started to make myself much more informed about politics, political ideology etc, I became slightly obsessed. The only positive thing can say about Obama now as a president is he speaks well on camera, not only based on this book.

Dinesh argues convincing for Obamas theoretical framework. Its interesting to hear more about Obama, a president that never met critique in the media. Dinesh warn about a second term to Obama, today we know how it went. Krim, open borders, Syria, Iran and China. All Obama “mistakes” but was it?

A shilling view into Obama

The notion that Barack Obama wanted to dismantle the US because of his anti colonial ideology is an interesting concept. Now in 2022 you are seeing in real time the dismantling of the US. I’d say it was more likely Obama was compromised by lower hungry globalists, confirmed in my eyes by the tyrannical lockdowns etc to further bury the US economy.

If I had read this when it was published in 2012 I would have discounted D' Souza as a crank. 9 years on after a year of the same policies being continued by Joe Biden, without Obama's charisma in the White House to distract, it now appears surprisingly prescient.
The fact that D' Souza was later widely reported to have been investigated by the FBI, prosecuted, fined, imprisoned and further sentenced to undergo psychological counselling after admitting to violating electoral donation law, when backing an unsuccessful Republican campaign in 2014 adds credence to his assertions. I understand he wrote about this experience in "Stealing America".

Surprisingly prescient.
