Summary

An unforgettable new series from acclaimed author Katie McGarry about taking risks, opening your heart, and ending up in a place you never imagined possible

Seventeen-year-old Emily likes her life the way it is: doting parents, good friends, good school in a safe neighborhood. Sure, she's curious about her biological father, the one who chose life in a motorcycle club, the Reign of Terror, over being a parent, but that doesn't mean she wants to be a part of his world. But when a reluctant visit turns into an extended summer vacation among relatives she never knew she had, one thing becomes clear: Nothing is what it seems. Not the club, not her secret-keeping father, and not Oz, a guy with suck-me-in blue eyes who can help her understand them both.

Oz wants one thing: to join the Reign of Terror. They're the good guys. They protect people. They're family. And while Emily, the gorgeous and sheltered daughter of the club's most respected member, is in town, he's gonna prove it to her. So when her father asks him to keep her safe from a rival club with a score to settle, Oz knows it's his shot at his dream. What he doesn't count on is that Emily just might turn that dream upside down.

No one wants them to be together. But sometimes the right person is the one you least expect, and the road you fear the most is the one that leads you home.

Pretty Good

What about Marguerite Gavin and Sean Pratt ’s performance did you like?

Both good performances were good and Sean fits the charcter of Oz well!

Any additional comments?

When I first listened to this book I was a little lost but after I got the hang of the alternating chapters between the main characters I started to enjoy and appreciate the writing style used.

A decent and captivating story, one I have happily re-listened to.
Interesting characters and nice that its about a mc club that's not into violence, as in reality the majority are peaceful!

A Young Adult MC Romance!

I was hooked from page one. This unique Young Adult MC Romance was an angst-filled, realistic coming of age tale. It considers the influence of family and promises -broken and kept- on young love. Well narrated to keep readers in the story. I can't say enough positive about this book... now off to the next book in the series!

slow to start

...the end was good:) took forever to catch my interest. I'm in a book drought so I pushed through it. Emily is a hard character for me...so fearful and on the verge of faint all the time. her narrator kind of bothers me too...can't explain what it is exactly.

another great story! !

loved this story. Great mix of romance, mystery and action. fun and easy listening while you're driving. main Guy is strong and confident enough to take the time to listen. intelligent enough to figure out what girl means. Girl is girly enough to be frightened but strong enough to overcome it when needed. A great love story with outside villians and without the corny overly emotional miscommunication as conflict.

the narrator takes some getting used to, and there are certain details about the story that I was unhappy with....but overall it was an okay story.

Slow, Boring & Slow.

Nothing happens. The characters keep repeating themselves... for twenty seven chapters zero action and minimal conflict.

No wonder this book is offered in the two for one book sale.

Sweet story of being young and finding yourself

Would you listen to Nowhere but Here again? Why?

No, but only because I heard every word the first time. It's actually a refreshing story that I didn't see coming

What did you like best about this story?

It was clean and heartwarming - -peaceful which was not expected in the "idea" of a biker club story.

What does Marguerite Gavin and Sean Pratt bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I LOVED the dual voicing!!!! It made the book much more interesting with the boy/girl voices respectively!

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Favorite book this year!

I really loved this book and the characters. If you like Sons of Anarchy tv show, you will probably love this, it's very similar, but it's the kids of the clubs take on life.
