Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

My little boy listened to this on a long haul flight rather than watching a movie. He was engaged the whole time but not over stimulated when it came to sleeping a little later. THe stories are gentle & innocent but funny & very sweet. It's a perfect choice for bedtime as there is nothing in there that will frighten.

What other book might you compare Now We Are Six to, and why?

If your children like Paddington Bear, Mary Poppins or the like this is perfect.

What about Peter Dennis’s performance did you like?

It is narrated brilliantly & are the voices of the characters that I had in my head as a child.

A classic. The only thing that I'd change is an audiobook issue: I'd like to have timestamps for each story - thankfully it's only an hour long so easily remedied with adding my own bookmarks on next listening

These verses are so familiar and comforting. I remember hearing them being read aloud on TV when i was little. All the fun words and crazy rhymes.
