Summary

Pebble Cove’s most infamous house is about to get a makeover, but can changing the outside get rid of the curse held within its walls?

High up in the cliffs behind the town of Pebble Cove, a haunted house looks out over the ocean. When the cursed house sells after sitting vacant for decades, the locals are concerned. Horrible things happened there. The buyers, triplet brothers famous for their house-flipping television show, are dismissive of the town’s warnings. When history repeats itself and one of them dies, who’s to blame?

Hired to cater for the crew, Rosemary is first on-site to find the grisly scene. Her instincts tell her that there’s more to this murder than meets the eye, and along with her ghostly friends, she’s the only one who can uncover the truth.

Ooooh so good

Another great adventure in Pebble Cove and I loved every minute spent there. This is book did in this very delightful series and is full of charm. I love the way the author combines two or even three mysteries into one. Two of them get solved in this book the murder investigation and working out what is holding back a ghost from moving on. The third investigation continues throughout the series and is why you should start at the beginning and I can highly recommend that you do, as they are all a lot of fun. With three cases on the go, it might sound confusing but this talented author has a way with words that not only make it easy to follow but also very entertaining. I was no where near guessing who the killer was despite the subtle clues. Still loving the ghostly exploits and how they help with the investigation. I also like that Rosemary's group of friends has grown but she still needs to come up with different ways to communicate with her ghost friends. Off to start the next book striaght away which is something I don't normally do, preferring to have a break between books from the same series but this one is sooo good.
When famous faces start showing up in the sleep town of Pebble Cove Rosemary is surprise to find out three property make over experts have brought a house she has never heard of. The old house has a checked past and the locals even say it is cursed after the previous owner have all died and are scared to even go near it. Then before filming can get started Rosemary and her friends stumble over one of the brothers body while catering the event. Has the curse struck again? When a blogger and then newspapers start to blame the local sheriff and his incompetence deputies for not solving the case, Rosemary and her ghost friends step in to investigate. However not everybody is happy helping and one ghost goes missing. Can Rosemary help her ghost friend? Prove the sheriff is good at his job and find a killer? All before the tea gets cold?
I like the narrator. She certainly makes the investigation interesting and keeps the listener hooked.
