Short and sweet
Despite being shorter than the others so far, Not Negotiable is just as 'readable' as others in Trident Security series.
It was nice to see Parker and Shelby in the line up and although we met them at The Club in 'His Angel' it is not especially necessary to have 'read' others in the series.

Parker and Shelby
This is the 4th book I have listened to in this series and, while I love the entire series, this one is probably my favorite one so far. In some ways this has a very different feel to it than the rest of the series but in other ways, it's very much the same. I really love both Parker and Shelby. They are great characters who have both been dealt their own set of challenges and deserve their happily ever after. Donovan Kane did a wonderful job bringing this story to life. I received this audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this unbiased review.

Short but Sweet
Loved Shelby since book 1! I'm not a huge fan of novellas and therefore wish it was longer. The first 2 chapters were just repeated from His Angel - I get standalone but still hate when authors do that, especially when it's already short. That said it was a very sweet love story.
I didn't care for the narrator's female voice on this one.

Very emotional
This was a lot different from the rest of the series. Not full of action and gun fights but it shows what a great writer Samantha really is. It’s very emotional and has all the feels. Brilliant storyline, strong characters and amazing narration.

Sweet, sexy and emotional
Although she yearns for Master Parker at the BDSM club they are both members of, Shelby believes she hasn't got what the caring dom wants or needs. Parker has feelings for Shelby too and cant understand why she keeps him at arms length. When he discovers her devastating secret, will he run or step up and make her believe she is everything?
I listened to the audio version, although from dual POV there was a single male narrator who was pretty good, especially with Parker's Dom voice ;-)
There's a lot of emotion in this novella with a subject close to my heart and life at the moment. It was written with care, depth and complete realism. My heart broke for Shelby and what she had been through and the devastating consequences and what was now back threatening her life. Parker was the perfect balance of dominant and caring, I was rooting for them to work things out to find their HEA.
I really enjoyed this novella and the mix of emotion, sweetness and steamy chemistry. Another fabulous dog too! Looking forward to more from the Trident Security team

this one stole my heart
Having known so many people with cancer, Parker and Shelby's story really tugged at my heart. Parker is amazing with Shelby, once she lets him in. But getting to that point was a struggle for them both. We all need a Parker in our lives to lift us up and never let us down. I loved hearing their story and hope to hear more in the next installments.
Donovan Kane is easily becoming one of my favorite narrators. He really brought this story to life. Kane easily narrated the strong alpha in Parker and his much softer side too. Both of these characters are so complex, yet Kane was able to narrate them exactly as I imagined them. I cannot wait for more!

Not Negotiable
The strength! What an amazing book. I absolutely loved this book just as much as the first three if not more. A perfect ending to this novella and i can’t wait to see more of these two in the next book.
