Plot was sublime, plenty of action and suspense, drama and danger. Narrators were really good too, easy to listen to and held my attention captive during the plot twists! Excellent spicy narration too, particularly from the male lead 😉

It's a straight forward plan, surely Alessandro can complete it in three months whilst keeping his hands off his wife.... can't he?
I really like Alessandro, he is such a tortured and broken character, convinced he is a heartless, cold-blooded killer, but he actually has the biggest heart. And the care and love he cannot help but show Calli, even when he tries to avoid her, is beautiful, even as it's heartbreaking.
This is a complex, unusual and twisted hunt, rife with corruption, too many players and a mafia who will stop at nothing to continue their line. Not everyone is who they appear to be, but who is helping and who is hindering?
I love seeing growly, possessive Alessandro finally embracing his feelings and celebrating their love. A fantastic book in an awesome series, this is AMAZING and I cannot wait to listen to the next in the series. I listened to this on Audible with Kindle Unlimited.
