About this listen

Molly: Moving to Seattle is supposed to be all about getting a fresh start and leaving the bitter man I was becoming behind.

I have new roommates–quirky, sometimes strange, roommates–a nosy next-door neighbor, and a grumpy kitty for company, but even surrounded by people, I still don’t feel like I belong. Plus, it turns out the men in Seattle are exactly the same as the ones I left behind, and my string of romantic disconnections continues.

It’s not until one of my roommates, Seven, hits me with some hard truths that I realize where I was going wrong.

Maybe the men aren’t the problem.

I am.

And there’s only one way to fix that.

Seven: Being found tied up naked to my bed by my cute new roommate isn’t an ideal way for us to start a friendship.

But apparently a quid-pro-quo is.

He keeps his pretty lips zipped about the compromising position, and I step in as his dating coach. We go out, I note where he’s going wrong, and he magically becomes dating material.

The problem is, between my codependent brother Xander and a new best friend I can’t get rid of, Molly and I are the target of a matchmaking scheme. My life is way too busy to add another person to it, and Molly is the kind of guy who needs to be made a priority, which I just can’t do. Xander’s medical anxiety takes up too much of my time, and I’ve never found a partner who doesn’t resent it.

I’m determined to help Molly find his ever after.

But that guy will never be me.

I was really unsure about this book, after seeing Molly in “divorced men’s club” series he was rather annoying, selfish and immature.

But this was a great story that I thoroughly enjoyed and glad to see his side of things, yes still immature and annoying at times but you could see he just wanted someone of his own to love.

The introduction of Seven and the dynamic he brought to Molly was interesting to read. Many moments that I laughed out loud and some others that annoyed me when Seven just wouldn’t get his shit together. Even teared up at a few spots including the ending.

The only thing I would’ve loved to have seen from Mollys perspective was how his Dad & best friend got together, we’ve seen from their perspective and would’ve been a good addition to the story. Also thought it was hilarious that Seven has a dad crush.

As always loved Teddy Hamiltons narration. He’s such an amazing narrator and I’d listen to anything he reads.

Loved Sevopus

I loved this book, more than I thought I would. It was laugh out loud funny in some places, touching and beautiful in others and it deals with some hard issues. Was also lovely to recognise characters from other series I’ve read. This one has to be my fave and I think the narration made it one of the best MM romances I’ve listened to. Wish there was a sequel with Molly and Seven.

Surprised

Having already read the book I wanted to go back and listen to book 1 then listen to this. Molly & Seven were perfect in fact all the characters were and I’m hoping the next book is Rush & Molly’s Dad that’d be awesome .

Absolutely Perfect

I love this book!!!! I'm so happy I gave it a chance after the horror it was to read the first one of this series. It's fantastic, and everything a book should be funny, engaging, and romantic, with a bit of tension, lots of tears, and all the love.

Adorable

I don't know why I skipped Sevens story and went straight to rushs because it was brilliant, I love this house of misfits, but this one was my fave so far..now i really want xanders story..
the narration was as always the best, part of what makes me enjoy these stories so much is how perfectly narrated they are.. the best pairing of Author and Narrator since lily morton found joel lesley..

Love Seven and Molly🔥
